    Thought I would pop by and say hello,

    What a fabulous list this is, must have taken ages to do.

    What an interesting, talented man

    Just one thing I can see that is missing..

    Just looked back at the Sun at the end of November and they said then that Will was the one not to have yet signed and that Ricky Wilson was hoping he wouldn't so he could step in but it was unlikely. I'd forgotten that when his name came up again.

     

    Jessie J is going to be mouthy, I can tell.

     

    I hope not Ros :( who gave her the right to ban sob stories?? :thinking:

    If someone genuinely has a sore throat, although its not nice for the person trying to sing, I don't consider it to be a sob story! :rolleyes:

    What I don't like is the sympathy stories about their personal lives that contestants tell to try and get the judges to put them through, I think they should be stopped.

    Glad Will seemed to have first choice over Ricky :D

    Thanks Phil. All I could see from James Morrisons show was pictures. I suspect the best hope could be a broadcast over Xmas of the live stuff they've had people do over the year.

     

    We could do with someone who can record audio stuff on here.. I have it on my V+ but don't have the wherewithall to do anything with it.

    ive downloaded an app for my phone that will record from radio, have set it to record now so i will get come on recorded.. hopefully :lol:

    will have to sort out how to edit and upload so can send it to you :D

     

    playing it now :D im recording but not sure what to do with it next :lol: will try sort it this afternoon :D

    yum lots of lower register, have got it just need to find out how to get it off my phone :lol:

    It was really nice Phil, very soully of course. I had heard it before as I have a couple of Donny Hathaway CDs. Just checked and it's on A Donny Hathaway Collection, maybe you can hear it on Spotify, last fm or clips on iTunes/ amazon etc.

     

    I'm sure they'll be playing the tracks again, they'll want their money's worth on Magic surely?!

    I so hope that Will is definitely going to do the Voice, what a great platform for promo for both him as a person and for Echoes :dance: and of course for us lot to see him on there week on week :dance: He really is the obvious choice :dance:

    I would have also liked Annie Lennox on the panel too she would have been a great choice IMO and also Bev Knight what a great singer she is :D

    and for my last choice I would also have liked one of the young rappers or Charlotte Church, as she can sing both pop and classical.

    I don't know a lot about Jessie J but the programmes I've watched where she's been singing, if she has been singing live, then I'm ok with that choice for that reason only, I don't much like her attitude! the wee-ing in cups :puke2: even if she is just taking the p!ss (pardon the pun) it's a revolting thing to say! and the amputee comment ... how dare she!! :no: and just for the fact that she's only been around for 5 mins.

    Tom Jones, ok I do agree he is a bit old, and not really an oil painting, but boy can he belt out a song, and I think he comes over really well, I also think he can relate well to youngsters too, he has a nice personality, at least he is from the UK, he's been round the block a few times too, so I am ok with him.

    Will-i-am ??? hmmm now here's where I have a problem! Firstly I have seen him on TV singing at charity gigs, didn't the Peas do one for CIN one year? god they were DIRE in a huge way! so out of tune it was ridiculous and cringe-worthy! ugh! If he can't cut it live then wtf is he doing on there AND being head judge AND not from the UK. Spoke to Barry about it he did say that Will-i-am comes over very well, but if that's all he's good at then why has he been chosen? :(

    So I will watch with baited breath :rolleyes:

    Wonder what this is about?

    Maybe why during the tour Will kept tripping back to Manchester. He's never still is he. That puppy is going to have to get used to travelling. :)
