Your most hated song of the year... so far
Coming Home by P Diddy and those two girlies. I thought it was alright at first, but now having heard it a million times on the radio, I break out in hives when it comes on. NO MORE!! NO MORE!!

I stil think Nicole will get No 1 tomorrow, Adele hasn't pulled away massively live some people said she would.

iTunes Chart: March 2011 (III)
It's not THAT big a lead, not enough to make up for Nicole being in the lead for six days. We'll find out tomorrow, anyway.. :)

Wow, the knowledge of this forum for the trivial and obscure never ceases to amaze me. Thanks a lot, Buzzjack ensemble now!! :)

I still think Nicole will be No 1. EVERYBODY, STOP WORRYING!! To change the subject completely, what the heck is a Stan? I've heard it used to describe an obsession for a particular musical act, but where does it originate?!

Hopefully around midnight (less people to see it that way) :)

Yes, but when I say things like "That's my last word on the subject" and "I've done talking about this" it seems pretty clear I want to move on.. but like you, I always respond if someone else wants to take it further. I'm polite like that.. :)

Who's telling her that point blank? This is something I'm saying in the privacy of my own living room :) Maybe it is harsh, but without knowing the circumstances it's very difficult to sympathise. I just think we're oversaturated with 'emotional' songs right now, so every time I see someone cry during one it's natural to feel sceptical. End of. (I hope, for REAL this time.....) :)

Wow, The Wanted up to two now already. Great editing in the topic descriptions, guys!!

Well, what else is she supposed to do? Let it bother her for the rest of her life? I'm sure she is still upset, but seeing her burst into tears every time she sings it does seem a tad excessive. Anyway, as I said I'VE DONE TALKING ABOUT THIS. I hope Adele's performance (as stunning as I'm sure it'll be) will be scheduled as late as possible, so whatever gains it makes will be as miniscule as possible.. ;)

This is CERTAINLY going to be my last word on the subject. I have an opinion, and I don't think it's rude to express it. Now I think you're the one who might be taking this a bit too seriously. You're not Adele's minder, so no point in having a go at me for my view, you're not going to change it. Can we just agree to disagree and move on :)

It just feels a bit laid on, that's all. Anyway, I'm done with talking about this.. I don't want to come across as a bitter, hardened cynic (Maybe too late for that :D ) I just hope that Nicole doesn't lose out on Sunday because of one performance on a high profile TV show. Seems a trifle unfair to me..

I have a distinct urge to shout out "GET OVER IT" every time the water works start flowing after that song. Once or twice is fine, but I've seen it now on plenty of British/ American shows and it's beginning to feel a bit strained. I don't think she's doing it to sell records, but I would advise her to move on before the public at large start to tire of these melodramatics. I know I already am..

Luckily, I am a lot more confident about Nicole's chances, and I genuinely think that most people who like this song will have it already so the boost, whatever it may be, will not be enough to take it back to No 1. We shall see..

Yes, it's sad she's estranged from her boyfriend, but for goodness sake girl.. Get a grip!! Life goes on, and after a while, the tears after every performance of that song ring a bit hollow. Just my opinion, like.. :P

No, I disagree. I think the main downloads from I-Tunes that do well because of TV are related to music shows, and most people watching Comic Relief will be focused on the sketches and charities, not on the individual performances. Apart from from the Peter Kay video, but that goes without saying. If Nicole misses out on a deserved No 1 after leading I tunes since Sunday because of another manipulative singsong by Adele, I may just give up on the charts altogether. Fortunately, I don't think it will :)

Someone Like You is now familiar to a great deal of people in this country now, it's not going to carry the same impact it did on The Brits. Also, Nicole has been leading the ITunes chart for the best part of 6 days, and that coupled with the rumoured 22k sales difference on Wednesday mean that Adele has got a mountain to climb. I highly doubt she'll make it.
