Yes it’s great, but the reason is that he was never your archetypal talent show winner, there’s much more to him than meets the eye as well as his wonderful singing ability.

There’s different reports on numbers, I’ve seen 60, 30 and 20. He’s got plenty of fans who will have ordered full packages from his own merchandise store on day one, downloaded from the likes of Apple, and who have no need or desire to do the stan thing of travelling to turn up for another cd and the chance to get a signed copy from him when they never set foot in HMV any more anyway.

I honestly love it all. There’s not one that I don’t want to listen to. A fine mix of songs set off by his amazing voice which is better than ever. :D

Can’t wait to pick up my Will album merch today, orange vinyl included! His cover of Haddaway Don’t Hurt Me mashed with Kylie’s Spinning Around was just off the scale. Sunday Brunch and Loose Women performances to come from tomorrow too. :yahoo:

It’s at #1 on iTunes so that gives it a prominence! It’s a great album, love it. Perfectly showcases his amazing voice. :cheer:

It was funny but not what I expected after the build up and then the wait. :lol: Someone said last night that the song is off the radio 2 playlist this week after about six weeks so I imagine we’ll be getting another track very soon now.

I agree. He’s got a lovely style of speaking, so interesting and engaging. It was just like them having a really good chat. The Homosapiens podcast has been an excellent means of showing the real Will too.

Thank you dazzey! While I was out earlier I saw that but couldn’t find it anywhere when I got back. I knew I’d not dreamed it but all I saw was a frieze frame of Will in the cowboy hat, I thought it must be an ad!

So he’s written the first two singles with Jim and Mima and there are two Eg White songs on there. Wonder when we’ll hear the second single? Maybe not until radio 2 take All The Songs off their playlist do we think?

I think the samples won’t surface till much nearer the release date Dazzey. Usually if you’ve preordered two or three other full tracks will become available to you ahead of the release though. With Echoes I remember them making the whole album available for anyone to listen to over the weekend before but of course since that time they’ve moved the chart weeks from Monday - Sunday to Friday - Thursday.

He’s doing radio and newspaper interviews to promote the album and the tour but doubt if he sees any need to promote the single, he’s not got the streaming to make any impact on the charts anyway. I’m looking forward to a couple of more tracks before 14 June when the album is released though.
