 Very promising I think TT!
  2. Audley End  Lovely, thanks TT and Sunday of course.

 Gorgeous natural photo! Thanks TT. :D Hard to tell where he is, I'm trying to read the back to front signs!
  4. Yes it just crept out didnt it?! Nice artwork. I dislike the album track version so this arrangement was a great improvement for me. Certainly brings back memories of the live summer shows. :cheer:

Yes that name is a blast from the past. :D It did seem at one stage that news was being channelled to the Daily Star though.
  6. Good, there's more than enough mention elsewhere. B-)
  7. No hats thread please!
  8. An unapologetically upbeat single! The video was something else, a groundbreaking idea! I agree he looked wonderful jacqui! Digital download tracklisting: "Hopes & Fears" "Love Is a Matter of Distance" (live) "Very Kind" (live)

Thanks munchkin, always nice to see an updated pic. Also good he's showing an interest in motown.

Hard to tell but we could do without the sarky comment at the end. if he worked for the Daily Star we may have a chance of a more detailed bit of gossip.

    Well I never!

Yes I was thinking the same.

I wonder if he's had enough of Magritte now and more particularly - which other heroes he's got lurking to channel?
  14. Loved that performance! Thanks TT. Considering the album tracks / would be singles sounds a good way to pass some time. :D
  15. You're probably right TT. It's surprising how remembering these singles twigs memories.
  16. Thanks TT, I think that's a great video. You wouldn't think a trip to Iceland was needed but it did make a nice backdrop for his South Bank Show. :P It was Show Some Emotion that I didn't like around this time. Didn't he interchange singing that with Help Me on the Let It ago tour? I seem to remember hoping the nights I went that he did Help Me! :D
  17. Yes goodness knows what the thinking was releasing it as a single. They seemed to think that it was good and big news that it was to be the last cd he released, going to downloads from then on, and billing it as a limited edition. As I recall he explained the concept of not stressing over things you couldn't change and it did seem to fit with a new laid back even forgiving attitude. I do like the song and I think he sings it wonderfully. Also I like the tracklisting, it was great to have a couple of the album launch songs on there: 1. Let It Go - Radio Edit 2. You Don't Know - Live From Cadogan Hall 3. Help Me - Live From Cadogan Hall
  18. Didn't realise this thread had been killed off by Devoted going offline! B-) Something I did not know but Wikipedia tells me so it must be true: :D

No Will, please do not put a cow on your next album cover..

I really enjoyed the programme and agree Wills enthusiasm came across so well. He does have such a lovely voice ideal for presenting. I will definitely watch a second time to see what I missed but he did hold my attention all the way through, which for an arts programme is a bit of a first for me!

:D So it was! Thanks TT.

    Thanks TT! Counting down now..
  23. I've often thought that too.
  24. I remember you weren't happy with the recordings. I think I can remember people shouting out about the sound too, maybe it was too low to start with?

I see Will's Black Keys were featured on Later with Jools Holland last night. Quite enjoyed their first song.
