I can't remember to be honest. I wonder if Will thought all his audience were philistines since no one identified his efforts! All the grumbles there were over his hat, the raincoat etc.. :D
  2. Thanks munchkin. I've seen the day I would have been out by now for a copy of the magazine but I've been able to control myself for a change!
  3. Another strange decision with hindsight was puttting Let It Go on the tracklisting and then releasing it later as a single!

This is a decent link to Magrittes paintings in chronological order: http://totallyhistory.com/rene-magritte-paintings/ It says there are 190+ items. I wonder which of them Will will concentrate on during the programme.

Thanks TT, lovely picture! There seems to have been a little trickle of selfies recently so Wills looking happy to be snapped of late!
  6. My hub likes it too and sings along. He always mentions it when I ask which Will song he likes the best. Also one of my friends who is a mild Will fan loves it. :D
  7. Yes it was very stylish, like the album itself of course. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c7/Let_it_go_Front_Cover.jpg

Yes I think he can tell who is genuine. The celeb chasers will get short shrift.
  9. A mid tempo release as they say and it was received so well with another very good video accompanying it. As you say TT the airplay was great, I always wondered whether it was seen as hugely popular due to fans ringing up or texting for it to be played as the single sales weren't huge. It was a silly mistake of the record company to split the release of the download and the physicals and definitely affected the chart position. Still I suppose they were new to it at the time and probably weren't sure about fans interest in downloading then. I remember the excitement at the time about Will's return. :cheer: And this song kicked off a host of promotion and of course dropped just before Let It Go came out, so a lot to be grateful for here!

And on a much more basic note, doesn't he get the wear out of his clothes?!

Thanks TT. Nice pic. There was a woman whose name I should probably know on the Wright stuff the other day who had apparently been a celeb of sorts twice and she said how times had changed - when she first became known it was "please can I have an autograph" and now people were more demanding "here I want a selfie of this" . It doesn't look like this guy was like that otherwise I can't imagine Will playing ball. :D

Nice to catch an advert for the programme tonight on itv! :cheer:
  18. No, when was that? Those outfits wouldn't have been out of place on the Palladium stage some years later! :D
  19. There was something on his site where you could dress Will in a choice of all these gaudy outfits and wigs around this time too wasn't there? And when did the crackly telly emerge, was that for the Keep On tour?
  20. Yep, got one of those somewhere!
  21. Yes, talk about going cold turkey as a fan. I can remember him saying before he wanted to sing out and be more soulful for the next album, I wonder if he's still got this in mind?
  22. I thought there might have been another artwork cd here too but having had a look at my collection it seems not. Am I right that there were postcards produced and left in pubs and what not? I'm sure I bought some as you do.

Not long too wait now then.
  24. No, you aren't alone jacqui, I like it too! I can remember when he went on radio 2 before Keep On came out and it was playing in the background while he spoke and I wondered what it was. I confess I was not a fan of the quirky video but got to like it, even the wigs!
