He owes nobody anything. All this ‘they owe me’ is pathetic. He split with his management comoany last year, they were the ones running his website anyway. If you want to hear him sing, go and see him in Strictly Ballroom. It’s a great show and he does loads of singing.
  2. Great to see he’s performing while also doing Strictly Ballroom. :cheer:

Third single already? Campaigns are so speeded up these days.

I think you should change the title of this thread sajjadali, he's not quit music! Music is not just pop, and as I said earlier, he's not even said he's quit pop music, just that he's taking an extended break.

Don’t believe everything that *****le Dan Wootton writes sajjadali. He’s not said he’s quitting music anyway, its the pop industry he’s not enamoured with any more which is understandable. He’s following his various interests, and music is involved -just completed another successful tour of Cabaret, will be in the West End appearing in Strictly Ballroom from March 2018, doing more of his podcast with Chris Sweeney Homo Sapiens. That’s just what we know about. I’ve just listened to him do an hour show on BBC radio 4 and was at the recording last week which was great - and he sang!
  6. Hard to believe that Cabaret finishes this week, it has gone so fast. Very pleased to have seen him again reprise his role as Emcee, he’s perfected it and had rave reviews yet again. :cheer:
  7. He’s been saying in interviews recently that he’s having a break from music to concentrate on acting, and that his pop career is behind him now. He’s got another stage role next year in Strictly Ballroom in the West End.
  8. A performance slot on Strictly is not to be sniffed at, ten million viewers of whom loads will not have even realised they've returned. Scared of the Dark is the best song for them to perform IMO. The Strictly dancers will take attention away from them so it needs to be all about the voices, the sound quality and the music.
  9. Great reviews for Will and the show :yahoo: and I'm wondering whether Louise Redknapp is improving as time goes on. The acting will be hard for her so I'm expecting when I see it that will be the weak spot but stand to be corrected.
  10. Yes, every review of Cabaret shows Will to be performing brilliantly! I'm so pleased for him its going so well. And the homosapiens podcast is such a good listen, I love every Tuesday and Friday when a new release comes out. :D
  11. Thank you! :cheer: Glad you enjoyed it. I'm not seeing it for a few weeks yet.
  12. Thanks TT. Good to see things coming together for Cabaret.
  13. It wouldn't get me on board as a fan I'm afraid.
  14. Well all I'll say to those justifying what's happened is - we shall see!

Thanks TT. Can this be pinned please mods?
  16. Brilliant, I didn't realise you'd linked this important interview where Will talks about his PTSD prior to taking part in Strictly.
  17. A single thread in Retro could have covered what they are up to (whoever they actually are these days).

He's certainly getting a lot of press these days. He'll be so pleased that the homosapiens podcast has been so well received. :)
  19. The press I saw made it sound like previously unreleased music. It's not, it's reworked old stuff.
  20. That's not new. He sang it when I saw him on the 25 Tour!
  21. As a long standing member on the Will Young forum (I joined way back in 2006 though my current user details show later as there was some cockup with my password so I just rejoined instead) the more I read about how this has come about the more upset I am. If the new forums were for hugely current stars I'd shrug and say that's life, Wills not doing much music at the moment, doing lots of other things, but for gods sake, if anyone should be in the Retro Lounge it's the Spice Girls. It seems like heads have been turned by another site packing up and the hope that Spice Girl fans will migrate here. I know that the Will forum had gotten quiet, but what happened to the 12 month review? To just pull it at next to no notice when it's the best resource for Will stuff on the net is just appalling. And Nicki Minaj?! Words fail me.
  22. I'd seen in the Darius forum there could be a problem with using the Retro Lounge and thought you were contemplating pop after all. ;) I'd much prefer Pop, I think it's really out of place on Retro!
  23. Thanks TT. I enjoyed seeing the little video clips of the photoshoot with them in costume too. How strange, the pic above of Charles Hagerty has gone ginormous mucking up the sizing of the thread.

The first half is quite nice, but aargh, the irritating part of her voice comes in later on. I dislike her baby speaking voice too.
  25. I'm loving Tuesdays and Fridays at the moment knowing there's a fresh podcast to listen to.:cheer:
