No, unfortunately I've never seen him live, each tour he's had I've either not known about or it's been near impossible to make it. I hope to amend this on is next tour, ha ha. I agree with pretty much everything that's been said so far, it's brilliant that everyone wants a different single though, just shows how strong the album is. I'd agree that Personal Thunder could be an epic choice of single!

Thank you for all the responses. The beautiful thing about the creative arts, is that it's all so very subjective, this album's wonderful in the fact that so many people passionately love different songs, rather than everyone having a clear favourite and not caring as much for the rest. I honestly think that he could release any song from the album as a single, except, perhaps, for Outsider. I'd personally love to see Safe From Harm released, because it's my favourite song by a mile, but I'd be pleased if he released something like I Just Want A Lover.

I'm a big Will fan, I've been reading these forums and I'm hearing a lot of support for "Silent Valentine" being the 3rd single. In my own opinion, I can't see Silent Valentine doing anything for this album. That's not saying it's not a good song, it is, but judging by the chart performance of Come On I can't see it doing much good for the album's sales. For me (And this is all purely my own opinion, ha ha) I feel that the ideal choice for the 3rd single would be Safe From Harm. The reason for this is it's unlike anything he's released before. People who are Will Young fans will buy his album no matter what's released, and I felt that Come On possibly catered to his fans too much. The singles are there (especially a 3rd single) mainly to convert people who otherwise wouldn't buy the album. I feel to ensure a boost in sales for the album, he'd need to release something a little bit different, when you consider how diverse the album is, this shouldn't be a hard task. The album's doing fantastically well, but I feel that a single like Safe From Harm will do wonders for this album.

That's what I thought, don't get me wrong, I'm very fond of the song. It's true, I think everyone has their own personal choice for single, which only goes to prove what an achievement this album is. I can't really remember the last album I bought where I've seen people have so many different opinions on what the next single should be. And to SweetWilliamFan, you're probably right. It's definitely a different sound to some of his past work and it's a very catchy song.

I really think something like Safe From Harm is an ideal single choice in a way. It's catchy, it's different enough to convince people who wouldn't normally buy a Will Young album to buy one. I think Come On appeals too much to his normal fanbase who will buy his album no matter what singles are released.

I've just finished giving the album a first proper listen, I think some of it is utterly brilliant! Definitely rivals Let It Go as his best album for me. So a very quick, slapdash review from me. Love Jealousy Safe From Harm Outsider Personal Thunder Silent Valentine Happy Now Like Come On Losing Myself Hearts On Fire I Just Want A Lover Not too keen on Runaway Lie Next To Me (This changes on each listen) Good Things Overall, I adore the album, but what surprises me the most is the lack of "obvious single" material, usually on a Will Young album you're pretty sure as to what will be the next single. This only goes to show that he's not worrying about that sort of stuff any more, and IMO good on him. But the most obvious 2nd single would have to be Come On, but I'd love to put a vote in for Safe From Harm, I adore that song. Well done Will, genuinely a fantastic album from a very underrated artist.

I've decided to "come out" as a Will Young fan. I've loved him since 2004, but always been slightly embarrassed by it, not because he lacks the quality, but because it was never the "normal" thing for a young straight guy to like. Now, I'm 21 a filmmaker, I've always listed him as my guilty pleasure, but now I've bitten the bullet and decided to just admit I'm a massive fan of his. Love his music, love his style, love his grace a true underrated talent! ...And breathe...
