Which one is the most interesting?
  2. Thank you!
  3. Hello, does anybody have a list of the songs which spent most weeks in the UK top 40? I'm more interested in consecutive weeks, but total weeks would also be nice. Thank you in advance.
  4. I can see Let It Go ultimately going top 10 thanks to X Factor. I would actually be surprised if they didn't sing it.
  5. Of course The Little Mermaid started the Renaissance but Beauty and the Beast solidified it and showed that The Little Mermaid was not a fluke. It was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars which was seriously something for an animated film. Similarly the "Second Renaissance" (as some call it) was started by The Princess and the Frog or Tangled but seems now undeniable thanks to Frozen's enormous critical and commercial success.
  6. But Beauty and the Beast did. And that is a better parallel as Beauty and the Beast and Frozen are both seen as marking a turning point in Disney's fortunes.
  7. How sad. Disney's return to form deserved to be marked by a top 10.
  8. Funny because Frozen was only a moderate success in the UK rather than the mega-smash it was in South Korea, Japan and the US (where the soundtrack is expected to spend 15 weeks at number one).
  9. If you like the Disney Renaissance, you should enjoy it. The formula is the same: princess movie + songs. Whether it is as good as its predecessors is a matter of personal taste.
  10. Have you heard the reprise?
  11. My favourite Frozen song. Outstanding. Edit: But the reprise is better.

Which version would they play on radio? Hopefully the vastly superior reprise.
  13. Go Idina. But For the First Time in Forever deserves to be higher than Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
  14. Roughly 6 million, actually. Still huge, of course.
  15. 2009- Replay- Iyaz (#2) 2010- Solo - Iyaz (#32) 2011- Pretty Girls- Iyaz (#43) I suppose he counts, right?
  16. Thank you for your reply.
  17. What is the record for album with most top 10 singles?

What song had the biggest fall ever (in terms of places)?
  19. Yes, that's what I meant. Thank you!
  20. What happened to the OZ song? I cannot find it.
  21. As I said before, people here are not condemning the idea of speaking one's mind, however negatively, about her. They are condemning the celebration of her death, from ethical and/or logical points of view.
  22. I don't think this is the point. There has been a number of more or less official obituaries of a negative character. Her legacy has been democratically discussed in Parliament, with her opponents freely commenting on her. So people have spoken ill of her and this has not been condemned here. What is "bad" to many is for her death to be celebrated. Regardless of whether this is moral or immoral, it seems to be strongly illogical.
  23. I genuinely do not understand this statement. There are scores of negative articles about her on the Guardian website and on plenty more newspapers. The opinions of Morrissey, Ken Loach and the likes have been amply reported. Several others newspapers have called her divisive, harsh and uncompromising. Clearly the right-wing press (especially tabloids) is painting her as a hero, because this is what she was for their readers. But that is just a portion of the media and we are far from North Korea-style mourning...
  24. What is the reason for Clown's climb? Before Graham Norton, I mean.
  25. Hello, do you know if Skyfall is now the Bond theme with the highest sales? Thank you.
