Big Brother · Timebomb
Yes in general (unless you are a staunch supporter of either side) I think people tend to lean more to the right the older they get not the other way around.

Big Brother · Timebomb
He's very young and "idealistic" at the moment. I know my politics have changed a lot since that age and no party represents me fully. His statement wasn't entirely wrong in this case though imo but yes all politicians give with one hand and take with the other. More worrying is the amount of people you see in these shows who knows absolutely nothing about how the world works. Chloe's blank expression while looking at him was a good example.

Loved the Jack snoring thing  If you told Jack his name was Jack he would find some way to be offended. Harry is extremely odd and melodramatic. Not sure what she is trying to achieve really. If she is trying to say she can't/won't be in a room with Marc is she trying to turn people on him or just simply attention seeking and playing the victim? Or just peed off that people have sussed she attached herself to Nick for airtime? Whatever the reason. i don't think the other housemates are going to stay away from him. He has become a focal point good or bad. I'm thinking Joel has a good chance of winning this. He is so odd and contradictory but also cute like and old man in a teenagers body. Interesting character.

I don't have a problem with confident females far from it but everything about Harry annoys me, the whole walking around naked thing is just cheap and makes people feel uncomfortable. Ir might be confident but its also trashy imo. Her voice drives me crazy as well. She doesn't contribute anything but nakedness. Marc is a dickhead a lot of the time but I understand why he doesn't like her.

Marc going off on one about Harry  She is absolutely horrific though and right up there as worst housemate with Jack.

Jesus! (To quote Jack himself) I've never seen a such a self centered baby in my life, the way he went on and on about being nominated by Simon, I seriously would have told him to shut up if I was sitting there?! Does he ever stop whinging? When he said "stop thinking about yourself" What you mean like when you saved yourself but insisted you were more upset about Eileen being nominated than yourself for attention? Urgh this guy is the pits!

Did have to laugh tonight when Harry said Marc wants attention. Irony alert! Put some clothes on Love. The whole thing with her and Nick is creepy and has put me right off him. I think they are wrong about the public hating Marc as well. He will be popular in my opinion. He's an asshole but he is funny and the house needs him.

Yep. It never ceases to amaze me how angry people get. You have to be around people all day and nominate. Its not always hypocritical.

Big Brother · Timebomb
I don't think I can listen to Jack any longer. Insufferable. Pissed off about Eileen being nominated, just after he has been nominated himself? Mmmm. Funny she's was nominated 24 hours ago and he didn't start shouting then. Annoying little twerp. Showbiz is a hypocrite especially using Elieen's age against her and then saying he's 46 he needs sleep etc. Also saying the young ones need the opportunity. Why is he even in there then? And what gives him more right than Eileen?

Britain's Got Talent: Final
I loved UDI first audition. It wasn't quite as good on the live shows but I think they deserved a much higher placing in the final. Going 2nd pretty much killed it for them.

Britain's Got Talent: Final
Makes sense. The TV Cameras will often pan in on one individual or a section of the troupe and you lose the synchronisation element which to me is the only thing that makes it interesting. That and the routines are getting very samey. It just become reshuffling the moves. Shame as it must take a hell of a lot of work but its just not having any impact anymore (for me anyway)

Britain's Got Talent: Final
Don't get me wrong they are talented and all but so bored of the somersaults/spinning on the floor etc that every act does and I don't know why but it doesn't seem to work as well on the live shows as in the auditions.

Britain's Got Talent: Final
The right top 3 based on Tonight imo. I wouldn't mind the magician winning instead of Matisse but overall a really good final. One small negative. I've had enough of dance troupes..

Big Brother · Timebomb
I'm really glad Sarah has gone now. Far to full of herself in her interview apart from her attitude towards the Aaron/Joel situation.
-
Big Brother · Timebomb
Sorry catching up again as I've been away all week but very disappointed with Sarah just then. Aaron was completely over the line and it doesn't say good things about her that her first reaction is not to that but to criticise Joel's reaction. I felt sorry for Joel in this whole thing. He is clearly "inexperienced" sexually and looked very uncomfortable throughout, including when Aaron was trying to convince him of his sexuality. Not comfortable viewing.

Big Brother · Timebomb
Yes. The girls seem to think he is plotting to make them look bad and trying to get them to "rise to it" but I see it the other way around. Maybe they see him as threat. Young, good looking etc. It will work against them if they carry on. He just looks bemused when they kick off and quite frankly so am I.

Big Brother · Timebomb
I missed the first week and have finally caught up via Sky +. I really liked Nick in the beginning but his association with Jade who is just so full of herself is turning me away from him atm. Its so clear she is using him but he is too besotted to see it. Agree with HOK above that Eileen was spot on in the diary room. Is Christian doing something that I am missing? They seem to jump on him for some reason. I think he seems ok. That whole thing with Sarah last night was down to her imo. Its all very well saying "that's me and you don't read me" but she does come across as abrasive so why is it someone else's job to fix that. Jack is like a whiny toddler and has somehow forgotten where he is and they do things to turn the housemates against each other. Harriet is also difficult to take, constantly shouting people down and that voice goes right through my head. There are not many likable characters here and I have no idea who I want to win at the moment. I guess I quite like Joel and Eileen, the twins.

The X Factor • Series 12
Sure. I'm just a little irritated that as well as being everywhere else and pushed to the hilt (with not much talent to back it up again in imo) Olly and his irritating demeanour will now be all over the XF and will pretty much make it unwatchable for me. But hey I'll live :)

The X Factor • Series 12
Ben Haenow's not presenting the show but he has a much better personality than "I have a cheeky chappie act so I doesn't matter I can't sing or dance" "Murs and he can actually sing. Glad you will enjoy it though :)

The X Factor • Series 12
Olly "Mediorce" Murs. Oh lovely! I think I can safely say I will no longer be watching the show. What a disaster.

Sam Smith vs Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran by a country mile. The mixture of Sam Smiths music and his "I'm so credible and full of myself"personality is too much for me. His voice is the equivalent to scratching nails down a blackboard.

Ben Haenow - Ben Haenow
Anything is possible with Cowell but I just think their styles are too different to work as a duet. Not something I would like to see.

Ben Haenow - Ben Haenow
Interesting Post Umi. I agree that compared to recent years it was a good winners single and I've always thought Ben has good marketability. I just hope he is handled right and has a decent career.
