Really pleased how it seems to be going for Ben, its very early days but he seems to be received very well everywhere, single getting played a lot, I've seen loads of comments along the lines of "I don't normally like XF singles but..." and I have a feeling the figure at the end of the week might surprise. Like Pippa really looking forward to where he goes from here.

Yeah I know, I misread what you were saying. He is falling but with UF selling big numbers and his physicals I think he could have some pretty good numbers and hopefully the song sticks around for a while if not at the top but Top 5 or so.

OK fair enough :) I get the with the boost after the show XF single will always be front loaded, as always it depends how it holds up later in the week and beyond. UF may be #1 at the moment but if Ben doesn't fall completely away he will still be selling well behind it hopefully. Maybe I took it the wrong way if so I apologise.

LOL Ok then but its hardly the same as he sold a lot more copies more quickly so its hardly a negative to fall to #2 quicker if he sells like 100k more copies by the end of the week. UF is selling very strongly in its own right and Happy clearly wasn't selling as strongly as with Sam's lesser sales would have overtaken long before Friday....

Ben's already sold like 40k more than her up until weds mids though, not really comparable.

I guess if we get any sales today it may help as bit as the physicals went on sale yesterday.

Yes but I think he clearly wanted her in the "showpiece" a bit like with Cher Lloyd a couple of years back. I actually think he got his ideal Top 2 although his preference to win would clearly have been Fleur.
