175 Katy Perry Chained To the Rhythm (feat. Skip Marley)

25 wasn't available to stream for several months. So probably Bieber, Drake or The Weeknd.

Aaliyah and Ashanti had tons of US success though. Tinashe doesn't even have that. She had a moderate hit with 2 On, but that was really it (All My Friends did nothing there).

I think the issue with Dua is that her re-release is in the UK only and Spotify tends to operate as one big world wide playlist. Be The One was already a hit in many other countries last year. Local hits are becoming a rare thing. And it's why you see the same songs charting in every country. Interestingly though, it's allowing many songs to chart on US Spotify that I don't think would ever chart in the US otherwise.

It's more Cheryl and Rita Ora that I think will suffer in the current chart climate (though I guess the latter already did with Body On Me). If they ever get around to releasing something new.

don't you mean HU-OOOO-OOOO-OOOO-UGE?

Shouldn't dancing on your own involve actual dancing? Calum's version doesn't provide much to dance to.

It didn't even hit #1 in Australia! :(

Let It Go? I forgot how big No Money was.

All My Friends and What Do You Mean sound pretty nice again after not hearing either of them for several months.

It'll be back next week, along with lots of other old stale stuff thanks to the Christmas songs dropping out.

So 2016 ends with 16 number two hits and 10 number ones. I think I prefer most of this year's number twos to the number ones.

Janet Jackson's Control had had 7/9 tracks released as singles If you exclude the interludes, Rhythm Nation 1814 had 8/12. janet. had 9/15 excluding interludes and counting a double-A side. They aren't technically her first 3 albums, but like her brother, people tend to not count her pre-Control albums.

I find it funny that the three biggest Christmas songs all peaked at #2.

Don't forget the streaming ratio is being changed in a couple of weeks which will benefit Human.

And if you exclude cover songs and novelty records, it's the first since the Spice Girls

82 days according to Kworb. Once Dance had 101 days.

One Dance is up to 999,757,359 global streams as of today, meaning that it'll be the first song to cross a billion Spotify streams tomorrow. Crazy part is that it's still top 15 on the global chart..
