Yay Braveheart making it in :dancing:

My favourite #1 of 2013

The first of 54312 songs today by Sam Smith / Ed Sheeran / George Ezra!

I heard 1 hour as well. :/ Poor jsilv.

Oooh "Illuminate" at #98? *-* Due to being on a wonky sleep schedule lately, I'll be able to stay up all night listening to the countdown! :) I really missed not having one last year.

I still quite like Thinking Out Loud; but I'll probably be sick of it by the time it leaves the chart in June.

Up sounds like Counting Stars (or at least some OneRepublic song)

Ed sold over 200k albums again this week!

 Will Don't be next?

Ed Sheeran's first ever UK #1!!

To think I thought this would only get about 8 weeks in the top 40 when it debuted at #6.

I think these are the drop outs..

The gift card effect tends to boost more recent hits than the older ones. I'm not too surprised at the likes of Rather Be missing out.

Was not expecting THIS to re-enter! :o

Pretty sad that a song that debuted with over 300k won't even go platinum.

The 2011 Comic Relief single was Gold Forever by The Wanted, I think.

Can I have 2-3, please? :) This will be starting at 2:30 am in my time zone. Lucky me.

iTunes doesn't freeze during the gift card effect anymore. It didn't last year. Guess they finally fixed whatever was causing it.

It was one of those years when the Christmas fell on a Saturday, so the Christmas #1 was revealed 6 days before the actual day. Mr Blobby actually sold more copies the following week lol. That was Whitney's fourth week at #1, not her first. The first Christmas #1 to enter at #1 was "2 Become 1".

Would PJ & Duncan count as novelty?
