Hurts - Faith
I love the song apart from the beginning. Though it's growing on me. Once it really gets going it's amazing - reminds me of Depeche Mode.

Hurts - Faith
Absolutely love this song. Can't get it out of my head. I just can't understand why they don't do far better than they do.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 15th May 2020
I can't get the new Hurts tune out of my head. So catchy and apt with all that we're going through at the moment.

United Kingdom (You Decide) · Eurovision Song Contest 2018
Yes, that's exactly how I feel. In the countries where Eurovision is popular they are known so it would get them some votes (hopefully) and in the U.K. as they're relatively unknown it might raise their promotion for the good.

United Kingdom (You Decide) · Eurovision Song Contest 2018
I don't understand why they don't just give Hurts the job. They've said in the past that they want to do it. They have a bigger fan base in a lot of countries where the show is popular and they have the right sound. It also helps that Theo has great stage presence and having been to see them numerous times he can certainly sing. A fab song for them to have sung would be something along the lines of "Nothing will be bigger than us". Funnily enough I was listening to it at work and someone asked if that was the UK Eurovision entry as it sounded like a typical Eurovision track.

The Vamps & Martin Jensen - Middle of the Night
I went with my daughter last night to see them and it sounded fab sung live with Martin Jensen appearing. I really like it.

Sabrina Carpenter - Thumbs
Same here. Fab voice and a great song. On a side note all my daughter kept saying was what a lovely couple her and Brad would make lol

New Album 'III', lead single 'These Days'
I'm going to be honest here, Elisabeth you actually put me off coming on here because every time I do you're putting Take That down and bigging Robbie up. I know you're not so keen on Gary Kath, but you're constructive and your posts always make me smile and I like your sense of humour. This comment from you Milly resonates deeply with me "His stunt in 2011 seems to have damaged the band more than it helped, so why should TT fans be loyal to him and grant him the honour of being a TT member?" the damage I feel from him re-joining is that Jason left. I saw them twice at Progress and all three of us who saw the first show commented that Jason really didn't seem happy and there was a strange atmosphere which was lacking when it was just the 4 of them - as in they seemed happy. One of us there was a Robbie fan and she even noticed it. I personally think that Jay knew exactly what Robbie was doing and didn't like it - but that's my opinion. I know someone who met Jay not long after Progress and she said he was obviously confused and at the point where he couldn't decide whether to return and he made a disparaging comment that he was the least favourite and he knew everyone was there to see the rest of them. When he was told that simply wasn't true he said that he wasn't so sure. Not long after he said he was leaving. I really hope he comes back for the 25th anniversary, but I don't somehow think he will - though Robbie may well re-join if there's something in it for him.

CHVRCHES - Every Open Eye
I saw them last night at Alexandra Palace and thought they were really impressive. I've never seen them live and both myself and my husband thought they were fantastic. Lauren has the most beautiful voice and I could imagine how great they would be on the main stage at Glastonbury. It was lovely how genuinely un-starry they were and slightly overwhelmed at playing their largest venue. The only group I've seen who were as good were Hurts.

The X Factor - Guest Performers 2015
I wish they'd promote some bands who just need that little push to be mainstream in the UK. Manchester band Hurts performed 4 songs on X Factor Ukraine a couple of weeks ago and all they need is a decent promotion for their new single Wings and I reckon they'd break the charts and it's such an amazing song. Alternatively, Chvrches are in a similar situation. I haven't heard of any of Carrie's music, so I'll be watching because it is great to see an act which hasn't originated from X Factor UK or performed loads of times already.

Songs Radio 1 DIDN'T playlist
Hurts - Some kind of heaven. For some reason Radio 1 have decided that Hurts shouldn't be promoted. And to have the cheek to say that they weren't going to promote them as they "had more important tracks to promote". I guess they weren't expecting Hurts to leak it onto Twitter  . I think Nicole Sherzinger was told the same thing too. This was a couple of years ago and they've not promoted a single track since.

Hurts - "Some Kind of Heaven"
I don't think it's necessarily about Hurts themselves. More that it's an industry where everything is a facade and things aren't what they seem. It's not an industry if you're a fragile person. It sort of got me thinking of the scenario where Jason left Take That. He was a sensitive, deep thinking person and said he felt lonely even when surrounded by people.
