The single's already doing amazingly well considering it only came out at midnight. They were way ahead of McBusted who also released at the same time. I hope they get the number 1 they deserve.

Thanks for that info. I like Graham Norton anyway. I hope he interviews them rather than just have them on at the end and not really speak to them.

That's the same block I'm in the night before. I'd love to know just how many pre-sale tix there were as quite a lot still didn't get them and then there were others who I heard got 3 or 4 dates. I don't think its's particularly fair about people going that many times, which meant others didn't get any. I had 2 codes as I bought one for myself and one for my parents and I gave it away only to find the girl reply that she was going numerous times. I was pretty annoyed someone else didn't get it to be honest.

I managed to get tickets for 5th June and then realised that it's not exactly a great date to have booked - my daughter is on a week long school trip and gets back late that afternoon so I won't be able to pick her up and then I'm working the next 2 days. Will have to sweet-talk the boss and ask to take a day's holiday the next day if possible, though a work colleague is going to see them the next day so I can't see that happening :huh: We paid £94 each for level 1 at the O2. I paid £55 and £65 on the 2 previous occasions. I don't know if that's the same for all venues or just that the O2 is pricey anyway. I noticed there was a huge £8.50 booking fee on there.

I posted a link to it I think on the previous page I think. Ecstasy is basically a Hurts sounding record to my ears and not one of their best. If I didn't know it was a collaboration I wouldn't even know Calvin was involved. :D It certainly sounds nothing like Under Control.

Yes, I agree. It's a typical Hurts track. It's really great how Calvin really seems to be trying to get their name recognised over here as they are on the continent.

I must admit I like the new single. I noticed the signed box set of the album has already sold out of pre-orders. The signs for it selling well look good.

Well, I wasn't going to comment on his looks, but now you mention it Kath yes, he is drop dead gorgeous when he scrubs up. :lol: I wouldn't say no! I do wonder if he probably pointed out that it wasn't the wisest of investments and no-one listened. I get the feeling sometimes they don't listen to him when he says things, poor bloke. Just the way he was spoken to in that Look Back, Don't stare film. Maybe they'd be best to run more past him in the future. ;)

As I understand it Jason doesn't use the same accountants as the rest of them (good job too). Isn't his brother Simon his accountant? That would explain why he wasn't involved. His brother probably told him not to touch it with a barge-pole. :lol:

I have to agree. Stay is fantastic. I can't see him including any Hurts music though - they're just not well known enough, if you know what I mean? Love their songs myself though.

Really??? :P Theo's got a beautiful voice (well, IMO). When they supported Scissor Sisters that's the first time we saw them live and all of us were blown away. They were better than Scissor Sisters and all four of us went home and bought their first album.

Agree to both of those statements. If Stay had been sung by a different band it would have been top 10 easily. It's just because they weren't known and didn't get the radio support. I'm also surprised that none of their singles from the Exile album did very well. Blind is a cracking tune, as is Someone to die for. Hopefully now, their name will be more well known and they'll get a hit of their own.

Fingers crossed that you're right. Hurts work so hard and don't get the recognition they deserve.

I'm team Calvin, Alesso ft Hurts all the way. I want Hurts to get their first number one - even if it's a collaboration. I love Calvin too, but it'll be great for them.

That wouldn't be too hard given their track record of chart hits in the UK :cry: I really hope it goes to number one, if only to give Hurts the recognition they deserve after what seems almost constant touring and hard work. Fingers crossed.
