Does anyone know if Calvin Harris is releasing his new song featuring Theo Hutchcraft and Alesso and if so when?

I quite like it. It's not the music I normally listen to, but my husband really likes Calvin Harris's music. I love Hurts and have hoped for ages that the band get the success they've worked so hard to achieve, so if this is how it happens I'll be pleased. After all Calvin Harris and Theo have been friends for quite a while. I reckon with enough airplay it'll easily get into the top 10. Fingers crossed.

I saw it too. It was such a shame they were playing the same time as the Stones or they'd have probably had more TV coverage. I thought they played a brilliant set. Theo has a lot of charisma and if they were marketed correctly over here I reckon they could do so much better chartwise.

There was a TV programme on last night about Agnetha, maybe that's got something to do with it.

Who knows? I'm really confused about their record company. I thought they were with Sony, but they're not listed on their website, nor with RCA. Whoever it is they don't seem to have a clue who to market them over here to get them the hit record they deserve. :( So anything's possible. lol

I agree with Somebody to Die for being single material. The more I listen to Sandman the more I think it probably won't be a single - I don't think they've been singing it on tour have they? The song I think is stunning is Help, but I can't see them releasing it. Such a beautiful song.

My husband is or was a major fan. When we met he insisted on playing their records. I said "but all their songs sound the same" and he brought out an album and I'm sure it was called "All our songs sound the same." :D

Such a shame as it was such a good song. I asked earlier if they promote too early so that people have forgotten by release date?

Anyone know how Blind is doing? I can't see it on Itunes as being in their charts. Is it really doing that badly? Is it my imagination or do they start promoting their songs too early? I'm just wondering if this has something to do with it or do all bands start promoting new songs as early?

Thanks for taking the time to reply to me. Now I understand how it's done. There I was thinking I'd bought the Blind EP off Itunes and it wouldn't count - not that one person is going to make that much difference.

I agree. A much better song than Miracle, but they just don't seem to do well here compared to other countries. There's something I don't understand and I couldn't see any threads talking about it. Am I right in thinking if a group do a single version of a song and an EP version with extra songs. Does the EP version count towards the chart position or only if people buy the actual single version. It's just I've seen mentioned on a thread where songs are at more than one position in the charts. Surely there's a way of combining them? Or am I just being thick? :unsure:

I'm crossing my fingers for Hurts - I'm hoping Blind charts well for them, going by previous chart positions I'm not holding my breath though :unsure:

I always thought Stay by Hurts didn't chart anywhere near as high as it should have. I always think if it had been written or sung by a band like Take That it would have charted similarly to Rule the World. I'm hoping maybe someone will sing it on X Factor and give it the recognition it deserves.

Ooh..that's harsh to tell you to do that! lol You never know they may make it within the top 100. It must be frustrating for them that Europe "gets" them but the UK simply don't.

Ah yeah, now you mention it you are right and I bet that's the reason why too. Such a shame...

Great video! It seems strange seeing Theo in a red jacket. I've never seen him in any colour apart from black and white. lol I really hope this does well for them.
