1 HRVY - 1 Day 2 Nights · The bop to end all bops! Easily my favourite song across all 3 categories this week. Seriously, if you can listen to this without tapping your toes or wiggling your bum a little bit then your SOUL IS DEAD. I wanna go dum du-du-dum all night! 2 Sam Fender - Saturday · Sam is a bit hit and miss for me but this is definitely on the hit side - there's a few songs from his debut album I really enjoy and this is one of them! 3 Lewis Capaldi - Forget Me · This is a bit of a LewCap classic, easily one of my faves by him. 4 Calvin Harris - Summer · I miss the days when Calvin used to deliver banger after banger and this is definitely a banger! 5 Darin feat. Kat DeLuna - Breathing Your Love · Last season Eric Saade was my favourite discovery and it looks like this season that accolade is gonna go to Darin! This is a very fun and catchy 2000s bop! I look forward to more by him. 6 Calvin Harris & Sam Smith - Promises · This is OK but I've never been overly fond of it. This was the start of Calvin's decline for me. 7 Mackenzy Mackay - London · Not what I was expecting but not too bad. 8 Gary Numan - I Die: You Die · Nice 80s synthy production but I don't think it's something I'd go back to. 9 Tom Grennan - Before You · I like a lot of Tom Grennan songs across all of his albums but this one is a bit of a dud for me! 10 Damien Rice - Woman Like a Man · Nice enough but just didn't do very much for me I'm afraid. 11 Roosevelt - Take Me Back (Midnight Version) · Apologies but I just felt like this didn't go anywhere.

Can people multitask? Alternatively I can probably move the results from 7-8 if that's better?

That's an unexpected choice for Bananarama but I love it, it's their last properly amazing single! Quite a few on this list I don't know though, looking forward to checking them out.

I think EP tracks which weren't singles are fine to count as album tracks. Or the category could just be renamed non-singles. Or we could just wait until HRVY gets eliminated

Yeah as you've said most of those just wouldn't work across the board. Modern artists won't have B-sides, many artists won't have remixes, many won't be known for live performances or have live songs on Spotify (pretty sure my artist doesn't), and does Calvin have any covers? I suppose he must have some Radio 1 Live Lounge ones or something but I can imagine some artists won't have any!

Are the results always gonna be on a Monday? I'm out playing football on a Monday night so shame I can't follow them live! Anyway no huge shocks with the eliminations, I couldn't call it between Zara and Tove but I'm glad Zara stayed in. Tove will still have her chance to shine though! Glad HRVY wasn't too close to the bottom, hopefully his next song is one of his absolute bangers Now for the dilemma of what to pick for the next round...

Oh sorry it was a lower case A so I missed it Out of interest, of her lead artist singles, 11 have made the A-list (including 9 in a row between 2019 and 2023). 'Alive' was the first one to make the A-list after a run of 7 B-list singles. Of her collabs, only 'Crush' was AJ Tracey from last year was A-listed. Pretty impressive for her overall but I can see support starting to wane going forward.
