  1. Why was it ineligible, do you remember? I don't recall that at all and Wiki doesn't have an answer either!
  2. It's a shame no one's talking about 'Blowing Smoke', it's fast becoming one of my favourites from her! It was playlisted on R1 for a few weeks so it was pushed as an official single but it doesn't seem to have done anything chart-wise. It's so much better than 'That's So True' or 'I Love You I'm Sorry'!
  3. It was released in a couple of (not "many") territories yes but this is a UK chart forum so I presumed we were discussing songs played on UK radio which didn't chart - and all those other Oasis songs mentioned I've heard on the radio but I don't ever recall hearing Don't Go Away on the radio.
  4. I never realised Space Cowboy was Norman Cooke 😮
  5. I've always loved that whole album they made and I'm gutted it's still not on Spotify - and for that reason, it's become one of my most played CDs in the car 🙂
  6. I don't think any of those are particularly well known? If we're talking Oasis then surely The Masterplan, Acquiesce, Champagne Supernova and Morning Glory would be way way ahead of Don't Go Away lol
  7. Kylie's 'Your Disco Needs You' springs to mind. And also 'I'm Loving It' by Justin Timberlake from the McDonalds ads, I can't remember what the deal was with that, was it just never released as a single? 'Sonnet' is absolutely sublime btw, what a song
  8. What a track, sure, but what a hit's a bit premature lol

Yeah I've often wondered whether the playlisting of a song on Radio X means it's an official single. I've come to the conclusion that it does!
  10. 'Unshatter' is great! They're really delivering at the moment!
  11. The Lorde really is coming to save us 😮 I thought it would be an easy top 40 hit when I first heard it but it's now looking like a top 10 debut could well be on the cards!

They do seem to go through phases of playing a certain artist a lot - they've done it with Avril, Sugababes etc. recently too.
  13. I didn't have high hopes for this but it's actually pretty good! 'Psycho' was great too so they clearly collaborate well.
  14. That's a collaboration I bet no one had on their 2025 bingo card. Unfortunately it's also a collaboration I probably won't be feeling the need to listen to again.

There's not a lot of artists as prolific as Alan is right now. He released an album in January and already he's released another 3 singles since then! (This one's quite good btw)
  16. Thanks Seltin! Miley's song still needs to grow on me, but I'm really into the Ravyn one atm. Jade should still be comfortably on top next week 😃
  17. I voted 🙂
  18. I went to the pub last night, imagine my disappointment to find that no one there was talking about 'Ordinary' or the ACR situation 🙁
  19. I mean neither track is a patch on her best but I think I might prefer this to 'Freedom'
  20. I'm not finding this as instant as 'Sorry' but that's not to say it won't grow.
  21. Yeah the chorus isn't actually that shouty, and the bridge really hits!
  22. I think it was previously released on vinyl for RSD but they've now made it available digitally.

  24. That Sam Fender track is honestly better than anything I've heard from him this whole era! Quite like Aitch x Anne-Marie too.
  25. Lorde and Remember Monday basically asking the same question 😅
