'We Were Only Young' was up there with their best but neither of the other two are doing much for me sadly

That's pretty cool Rich! Where are the vocals sourced from?

I've written/recorded loads of stuff in the past although I haven't done much recently. Quite a lot of my songs are at https://soundcloud.com/mango7 if anyone ever feels like listening - this is mainly my pop/dance stuff. I should probably edit the order and put my best stuff at the top but I can't be bothered at the moment. For a taster, I would maybe listen to the [Studio Version] tracks first e.g. Fly To The Moon, Like There's No Tomorrow, The Way You Look At Her. This was my attempt at a slightly tropical 2010s Avicii/Calvin style banger : Blow My Mind I've also recorded some rock/pop tracks but that's on a different soundcloud account. I've also collaborated with other writers. Maybe at some point I'll gather all my stuff together in one place!

I've written/recorded loads of stuff and always used Reason and Cubase. But I know garageband is also supposed to be good. I suppose it depends what kind of music you're intending to make.

What does this mean? Some sort of dance remix of 'Evolve'? I'm here for it if so!

Maybe this can pave the way for a proper Madonna/Kylie brand new song collab? I'm sure either Biff or Stuart Price can come up with a suitable banger!

I know this has probably been answered before but could anyone tell me: Does Spotify still count streams if you listen outside of your home country? Does Spotify still count streams if you download and listen offline? Thanks!

Not that I'm complaining but how is Shakira still doing this well nearly a month after the World Cup finished?!

Thanks to everyone who has been posting the playlist in my absence. I'm now very much tanned and very much back! Don't know why that Harry Styles flop needs to be on the A-list for this long. Calvin also needs to be ditched. I would say I'm hoping for some good new additions next week but there really doesn't seem to be much good new music around at the minute...

It was and I don't care what anyone says!

Had a listenthrough and sent my votes, hopefully I'm not too late!

Given the situation I might actually have an opportunity to listen by the pool this afternoon and try and vote, hopefully I won't miss whatever the deadline now is! Though please let me know if it's too late in which case I won't bother listening. Thanks!

I trust you've seen my message @AllStarBySmashMouth but I won't be able to vote. I'm on holiday until next weekend and I just haven't had a chance to listen. I completely misjudged the timing of this contest. I will accept my 33% deduction. Apologies again!

That would be great but at this point I don't think anything can #reinreinmeinin

Thank you Sergej Hey James! The success of 'Dai Dai' has taken me by surprise too, I never imagined it would be hitting #1 for me but here we are! Tbf I have been very heavily exposed to it over the last month though lol. 'The Cure' still did amazingly and Ariana got to #13, that's hardly a flop Thanks Hi DaTilt! I'm the opposite with 'Dai Dai', repeated exposure at the world cup has made it hit #1 for me! 'My Body Isn't Ready' is brilliant, shaping up to be one of my favourites by Sombr! Thanks

Hi Jordan, didn't get round to replying on the previous thread! 1 - Well the 'Wonderwall' one is a bit unexciting if I'm honest but this one is much better so I would recommend listening to this one first! 5 - Nope, 'Can't Remember To Forget You' only made #12! You're correct 'She Wolf' was her last top 10. And as you can see she has now hit #1 blame the world cup for playing it to me at every game I've watched 6 - It kinda has grown on me but it's also peaked now I think. I don't think I'll ever properly love it... 26 - Oh it regularly gets stuck in my head too! Highest climber this week, I wouldn't be surprised if this was my next #1 tbh! 33 - Yeah I'm a little surprised too. It's maybe not as instant as some of his previous singles but it is solid for sure. Thanks

It looks like you're right and I've updated the playlist to reflect the correct Sienna Spiro song. In other news, I'm away for the next three Fridays, can someone else post the playlist in my absence please?

It's as boring as the R1 update... it seems like there's generally a bit of a lull in new music at the moment.

This What happened to the bangers we know she's more than capable of giving us?

I'd be lyin'... if I said I thought this was a good song.

Can we stop treating 'Rein Me In' as a football related song? There's really not much evidence that it is and I'm still not convinced.
