Ooh now there's a collab no one saw coming! I do like indie Kylie (loved her song with The Vaccines a few years ago) but I'm really not sure about a Snow Patrol collab?! Hopefully I'll be proved wrong and it will be some kind of, erm, let's say bliss 😊

You're not missing that much but it does have a few decent tracks so still worth a listen I'd say

I'm glad someone shares my love for that album, I don't know anyone else who does It's definitely a bit more polished compared to the rawness of the first album but the songs are just as good! It should have strengthened their profile but it did the opposite, I'm really not sure what put fans off tbh. But as you say they're not a band with a big fanbase, which probably explains why the new album isn't doing a little better.

Actually none of the singles from Killers Sounds even made the top 50 (you're probably thinking of the singles from Once Upon A Time) but I agree with the rest of your post. They're very much a band of their time. Stars Of CCTV I think is a very well regarded album (and quite rightly so) but people definitely lost interest in them quickly after that. Having said that Once Upon A Time In The West for me is right up there with Stars Of CCTV, I still play both albums a lot. Killer Sounds was a definite step down quality wise, so coupled with the drop in interest it basically killed their career for a long time.

Ok, wouldn't have guessed that's what you meant. Pretty sure Myles is gonna lose out to Olivia for #1. I don't know what else we can do as a nation to get rid of RMI. I give up at this point. #reinreinmeinin

It's definitely not better than Once Upon A Time In The West but yeah it definitely deserves to be doing better than it is. They've been promoting the hell out of it so I'm surprised it isn't contending for the top 10! Lol which of the thousands of things that Taylor Swift has done do you want her to do?

Her posthumous album was boosted by her dying? Are you sure about that?

Yeah no one's gonna be playing Three Lions after that dire England performance! Football just doesn't wanna come home

Thank you Sergej Hey James! I think Kesha has another climb left in her 'The Cure' is good but I'm not sure it will do quite as well as 'Drop Dead'. We'll see though! The Ari song is pretty decent, I don't know why so many people were hating on it! Still undecided about Taylor, check with me next week lol. Yeah agreed about Becky, I think that will smash here Thanks

So after a week of voting it looks like we have a clear top 5: Tina Turner (45 votes) Janet Jackson (43 votes) Bruce Springsteen (39 votes) Bon Jovi (34 votes) Amy Winehouse (30 votes) with no one else even scoring in the 20s! That certainly feels like the right top 5 from the list, nice work Buzzjack and thank you to the 126 (!) people that voted

Nice of them to name their album after my eye colour, no one's done that before

No way, 'Don't Break Her Heart' is a much better song than 'Therapy At The Club', I can see why the latter was only a buzz single!

They're so over chart wise but yeah this is pretty decent!

Playlists like what? You want them to playlist the Chaka Khan & Snoop Dogg song?!

Can we not just criticise them anyway?

I'd be very surprised if this isn't top 5. If it wasn't for Olivia's second week I'd say it should challenge for #1 but who knows.

Oh dear Kerry's new version is absolutely dire! Awful lyrics and awful vocals, who convinced her this was a good idea?

I've been tracking the playlist since 2013 and he's never been A-listed in that time I would imagine 'Limit To Your Love' would have been A-listed in 2010 though? Who are you talking about??

Everyone who was worried for Lily x Jade can hopefully sleep easy tonight. Pretty boring week otherwise.

B*witched were awful, they didn't deserve a single number one, let alone 4 of them! Definitely the worst of the big girl bands of that era. At least Geri had some decent songs (if we forget the existence of 'Look At Me' )

Doesn't bother me, I guess we'd have to rename the thread though. Maybe easier to have a different thread for it?
