Well you said Gaga and The Weeknd were going to be side by side but I wasn't expecting them to debut at 1 and 2 😮 I've got no complaints though as both are great songs and respectively the best they've released for a while! Wow @ PPC suddenly jumping up and repeaking! What's the reason for that? I don't think I've seen that happen very often on your chart! I'm no longer in denial about liking the Doechii song, it's kinda grown on me 😅 'Sports Car' is definitely growing on me but I don't think the album is as good as her last one. Everything I've heard from Sam Fender this era is a bit meh if I'm being honest. I wish I liked him more! Good to see 'Ordinary' enter, and good to see him finally get a proper hit even if there are a couple of other Alex Warren songs I like more than this one 🙂 Great chart 😃

Calvin going country in 2025 was a little bit predictable tbh but the clip does sound good. Surprised he's the vocalist on it though and he didn't bother getting anyone else in!

Gave this a curiosity listen. 'Almost' is a pretty good song but other than I only really liked the singles. 'Picasso' remains my favourite of his solo work. I'm guessing this is just a quick solo break and his next release will be back with The Vamps?

I'm happy that 'Burning Down' is doing well as I love the song, but looking at the chart runs you would have thought 'Carry Me Home' would be on higher sales (as the two versions of 'Burning Down' will already have been combined on the official chart).

I've already made my feelings clear on which version of 'I Drove All Night' I prefer so I'm happy to concede a draw between Cyndi's and Roy's versions! 'Happy Ending' is a lovely pop song, definitely up there with Mika's best.

Yeah Jack was pretty cringe in places, just as in previous years, but James Corden wasn't much less cringey and I honestly can't think who would actually make a decent host. I thought all the performances were great this year, but Charli's nipples Jade definitely stole the show. Shame Chappell couldn't be there, that would have made it a pretty iconic Brits after the year she's had.

Annoying how the sound kept muting, I know it happens every year but it can't just be swearing, surely the F-bomb is allowed after the 9pm watershed?

Little did I know when I wrote this that 'Rain' would be the next song to drop 🙈 it's one of my favourite things Madonna has released so I'm gutted it didn't do better. 'Cool For The Summer' was pretty good at the time though I don't go back to it much these days. 'Why Do You Love Me' is one of Garbage's best, definitely the best song that wasn't from their first two albums. Such an singalong earworm of a chorus!

Listening to it was a thing I did. Can't say it's a thing I'll be doing again!
