Going slightly off piste here because it wasn't a flop per se, but 'Take A Bow' by Madonna ended an incredible run of 35 consecutive top 10 singles when it peaked at number 16. It's never been my favourite Madonna song but I was still pretty gutted about that.

Yeah, people celebrating Christmas for 12 days after the 25th is an extremely outdated concept! It's all about planning New Year's now and then for many it's back to work a day after that.

I don't know when I'll get the time to listen to this as I've got a lot going on between Xmas and New Year but I will try and fit it in somewhere! Would very much appreciate a reminder close to the deadline if I haven't voted.

So Elvis has achieved 81 top 20 singles even without all his 2000s re-releases? Didn't know that :o

I make Madonna's total 68 - or are you not counting re-releases?

Also, it's sad that The Darkness aren't in the top 40, that's up there as one of my favourite modern Christmas classics :(

Not really - 'Snowman' was specifically from a Christmas album and 'Let It Snow' is one of the classics that returns every year, whereas 'Do You Want To Build A Snowman' is neither of those - its inclusion is pretty much just based on the fact that its title contains the word "snowman". I do remember it occasionally being played at Christmas in previous years but it's definitely not what I would consider a Christmas song.

That would be me! Obviously I had no idea that it had won a previous song contest (and why wouldn't it have done, it's a brilliant song) Anyway I've reconfirmed a different song but I'm not holding out much hope of it doing well as it's nowhere near as strong as the Rialto song and I don't have time to find anything better...

Frankly I'm amazed that Zach Bryan is popular enough that he sold out Hyde Park and added a second date :o he's had one fairly well known hit and one minor hit. I guess chart positions these days isn't a true reflection of popularity in the way it used to be even 10 years ago.
