I do like 'I'm Good' a lot but surely you can't consider it superior to the original classique?!

MJ vs Chappell atm! I didn't vote for Chappell because it's too recent for me to pit it against timeless classics.

I think this is the closest anyone has come to answering this! I've also long wondered why Sweden has so many successful musical artists (let's replace the word "good" with "successful" to make the discussion objective rather than subjective, as it's pretty undeniable that Sweden has produced more internationally successful acts compared to other similarly-sized countries). I think pop music must be more in their culture compared to other countries but I'd love to know if anyone has any better theories. Also, Swedish acts being successful was the case long before Max Martin came on the scene, as evident from many of the acts mentioned (can we also include poor forgotten Neneh Cherry in the list?)

The instrumental is great but I agree with Lewis that the vocal is a bit jarring.

Post-album singles often go completely unnoticed these days so it makes total sense to me to release more pre-album tracks.

Suggested to me by @awardinary a while ago after 'Pink Pony Club' hit #1, let's see what Buzzjack's favourite is of all number ones which contain a colour* in the title. I've left the poll open for a week, after which one lucky song will be crowned the winner! *Disclaimer: before anyone comes at me for missing their fave, I didn't include gold or silver or more obscure shades of colour, and I didn't include a song with the word "blues" in the title, as it doesn't directly pertain to the colour blue.

I wish it had a chance of being #1 officially too but it doesn't look like it will happen. 13 - I think I agree with you, both songs are solid. And from the clip I've heard of 'Sapphire', that sounds like it will be three for three 14 - No, sadly it's going completely under the radar, I haven't heard it played anywhere 😥 15 - Yes, that actually surprised me too! 19 - That is surprising for you, although I have to concede it's nowhere near the quality of 'I Had Some Help'. 38 - I really want to like this Calvin song but it just isn't doing anything for me, no matter how many times I hear it, which is a shame. I heard someone mention on the radio this morning too that Zombieboy is the next single. Very disappointing choice for me, it's one of my least faves on the album tbh.
