I know this song hasn't quite stood the test of time for some but I still love it, and vocally she's never sounded more flawless. 02 Dido - White Flag · What a song! In truth it was almost too close to call for whether this or Adele would top my votes and on another day it might have finished the other way round. 03 MARINA - Bubblegum Bitch · Irresistibly catchy, one of Marina's highlights! 04 Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Music Gets the Best of Me · I think it'll be hard to send a bad Sophie song to this contest! 05 Kate Bush - Hounds of Love · Maybe not quite my favourite from the Bush but still a great song. 06 Robyn - Talk to Me · Probably would have been a bit higher if it wasn't so recent, but as it is it can't quite hold up against certified classics. 07 Leona Lewis - Better in Time (Single Mix) · Nice enough from Leona but I'm looking forward to others of hers more. 08 Jessie Ware - Sauna · Not bad but once again it suffers from being too recent. 09 Milica Pavlović - Ona nosi Pradu · Well this was certainly the best of the ones I wasn't previously familiar with. Loved the instrumental parts, but the vocals didn't quite do it for me. 10 Agnes - Selfmade · I was expecting this to be really bad judging by some of the comments above, but I thought it was fine. 11 Tove Lo feat. Wiz Khalifa - Influence · Nothing special but not terrible. 12 Zara Larsson - Love Me Land · We all love Zara but this song is not it, sorry. I'll do the men tomorrow (if they're lucky!)

01 Texas - When We Are Together I've always been a sucker for this kind of Motown-influenced pop and this is up there with the best! There's lots more I'm looking forward to from Texas too. 02 Depeche Mode - See You Easily one of their best 80s singles, looking forward to more from them. 03 Bananarama - Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye) They've always been one of my absolute favourite girl groups and while this isn't quite in their top 5 for me, it's certainly up there! 04 Vengaboys - We Like to Party! (The Vengabus) So cheesy but the good kind. 05 Sade - The Sweetest Taboo A very soulful classic. 06 Years & Years - Take Shelter This is not bad but they/he have a lot better! 07 Ultravox - Sleepwalk This was new to me, quite catchy. 08 New Order - Ruined in a Day I love a lot of New Order songs but sadly this is not one of them. 09 M83 feat. Susanne Sundfør - Oblivion Not doing much for me sadly. 10 iamamiwhoami - play Not my cup of tea. 11 Fontaines D.C. - A Lucid Dream I like some stuff by them but not this one! 12 Dead or Alive - Misty Circles Really could not get into this one.

Quite harsh that acts will be eliminated in the first round, I'm sure this wasn't the case previously? Didn't everyone get to send at least two songs in the last edition?

I seem to remember that David Guetta & Emeli Sande song getting quite a nice boost from Eastenders a few years ago too though I can't remember how much of an impact it had in terms of actual chart position!

I know Texas aren't thought of too highly but honestly they've got some absolute bangers and this is one of them! They also have a certain other song which would get maximum points from me no matter what it went up against

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for HRVY's brand of pop, so expect me to score him consistently high! Still can't believe he's never had a top 40 lol.
