  1. Yeah this is exactly what I thought, if I didn't know it was Dannii I never would've guessed it was her!

It's actually pretty amazing to se Adela challenging for a #1 album out of nowhere. She's not exactly a very well known name and 'Ain't In LA' has only just started picking up in the last two or three weeks so I certainly wasn't expecting the album to debut anywhere #1!
  3. M was also a pretty easy one for me!
  4. K was one of the last ones I got, that was a toughie! In contrast I think L was the first one I got from scanning the list, probably the most obvious so I'm not surprised it's one that almost everyone got.
  5. You say that like anyone cares about the Big Top 40 when it's already gone top 40 on the actual official Top 40
  6. Got my tickets for the Palladium

    Tune
  8. Me too, I thought it would smash out of the gates! I guess the bass hasn't persuaded people after all

Is it worth watching? As a huge Oasis fan I feel like I should but I don't know if it's worth going to the cinema or just waiting until it hits streaming? Is it mostly performances, interviews or documentary?
  10. I've signed up for the presale!

Aren't you terrified of spiders? You wouldn't last two minutes in Australia!

I've got a shortlist of artists, some of who are European, so no issues there! I'm happy with Paddington getting the form earlier (unless he's actually on holiday in the UK right now and only pretending he's in Australia!)
  13. Saviour's Day and The Millennium Prayer cruelly snubbed!
  14. Yeah I had absolutely no idea for this one, couldn't even hazard a guess!
  15. For the H clue, at first I was thinking it's a song from the 50s or 60s as back then the same songs by different artists did used to chart simultaneously, but it didn't take me long to cast my mind back to the X Factor days and remember that it happened for 'Hallelujah'. Never knew that 'Imagine' had been banned from airplay, I went for 'Give Peace a Chance' for that clue!
  16. I'd be interested to hear what others say, but I can't really think of any technological advances which would lead to other ways of consuming music which are even on the horizon at the moment. So it's probably something that hasn't been invented yet. I would imagine that streaming will be around for a long time.
  17. You should do exactly that, and then we can revisit this post in ten years' time to see who was more correct!

OH MY!!! I was not expecting this until 2027! Hyyyyyyyyyped!!!
  19. As we await the next instalment of these answers, anyone who's a fan of my "Song Pictionary" style quizzes will be pleased to know I've just generated the AI images for next week's quiz and I'm really pleased with them!
  20. Oh I'm glad Flying Pickets was the correct answer for that. I wasn't 100% confident because the clue said "An act whose hit was recorded without conventional instrumental accompaniment" so I initially I was looking for an act who only had one hit!
  21. Yeah you've undertaken a huge amount of work @nine¾ for doing writeups for every incorrect answer from every person! Not sure I'd have made the effort to do that!
  22. They all seem like fairly big and well remembered hits! I wonder how many of this week's top 10 will be as well remembered in 10 years...
  23. Yay, Eva Cassidy was one of the more straightforward ones!
  24. Yes, 7 sympathy points
  25. Don't you have a rubbish Cher song to go and find for the next forum song contest?
