  1. Do we have a radio update on Ed Sheeran?
  2. Hardly any major updates, or none interesting for me. Probably because a lot of songs I was intersted in (mostly the Brit acts) are all going down save for Alex Clare.
  3. I was expecting this to peak in the 20s but seems like 46!

Last few years was hard for Brits to have success in Australia but the last few months have been a diff story - I'm looking at the Aussie iTunes (singles) and see all kinds of Brits there - that Wiley song, Prima donna, Ed Sheeran's got about a 100 entries on there, etc.

Oh ok, that makes sense then! So that's 2 boosts for her in recent weeks in Aus then... if not the single, the album should definitely do well as it was already climbing before this XF perf.
  6. So this will be Adele's 78th week in the top 10 then? If it manages to hold on....
  7. Despite "A team" not exactly taking off, it's nice to see Ed Sheeran selling consistently. After this week, the album will probably cross 110K in sales? Not bad at all!

So is Birdy going to do a Mumford and Sons in Australia and come out of the blue and have a massive selling album and single(s)? I get that "People help the people" was featured on a Neighbours promo but why has "Skinny Love" shot up to #1 on iTunes? (It's now at #2). Was it performed on TV or something? And the album's doing ok as well... #1 currently.
  9. So looks like Alex Clare could get a top 10 BB hit after all. Wow at Taylor!
  10. Yay for Ed, and can only go up next week as he bolted into the 60s/70s of iTunes since this chart was published. Alex has been a dark horse as well.... I thought popularity would die down and was solely due to the ad but radio is on board now as well.
  11. Taylor should be able to walk it on next week's BB100 as Flo's airplay isn't that high compared to hers.
  12. Me too! and it's hardly like Rita's a star herself. But was there a version with Drake on it? I always thought Drake just wrote it, and didn't even do backing/demo vocals? Oh, and LOL @ mariah!
  13. Was Emeli Sande's "Read all about it" one of the songs cut? Cos I see her climbing the UK and Oz iTunes but no sign of her on US iTunes.
  14. Great seeing Mr.Sheeran back in the top 50 (the album should've crossed the 100K mark in the US this week), and "A team" rising on iTunes as well, and now in the lower 60s. How much more has Adele left to hit the 10mil mark? After this update of 26K, I would think about 330K remaining?
  15. Aah, thanks for the info. So "Sweet nothings" is the Florence/Calvin song? Sounds intersting. Also when will Calvin release his 3rd album? LOL, we've had 4 singles from it already then.
  16. Nice to see Rita Ora/Tinie at 100.
  17. By Florence collab, are we talking about a new song or the Spectrum remix? also I don't think it's such a bad idea releasing the Example duet as Calvin can do well on his own ("Feels so good").
  18. No worries dear Umi, we love that you take the time to post this for us. Anyway, YAY at Ellie! Could we be looking at an airplay #1? Wow!! :o LOL @ Mariah!
  19. She's selling at a steady 30K pace and will hopefully go up near the holidays. At least she's deffo got this year's best selling album in the bag.
  20. How much longer is that Phillip Phillips song going to be at the top? Till the Olympics end? With the closing ceremony though, I wonder if Ed Sheeran will get a boost.
  21. And it seems so darn close right now, doesn't it?!! Eitherway though, whoever gets the #1 might have to give it up in a couple of weeks to Flo Rida.
  22. I have a scary feeling that this could be as good as Aiden Grimshaw's.
  23. I'm so happy for Ellie. But looking at both the airplay charts and the iTunes chart, how is it that Katy Perry actually fell? She looks like a clearshot #1 for next week if not Carly, right? Also I realised we haven't had an American at #1 in the last 17 weeks!
  24. LOL! Technically she #1 though..... on Pop radio! I liked this song, it's catchy - it's mature - it's got that transatlantic appeal. The song has US potential, it just depends on whether radio sees her as an act they want to invest in, or keep relegated to "one hit wonder". If nothing else though, on the back of the success of Lights, this album will have a top 10 debut and she'll get lots of TV perf's.
  25. Kind of a bit surprising as she hasn't really had stellar gains on airplay (I mean she's gaining at the same pace the last few weeks), and has been falling on sales. What's EVEN better is that they're predicting her to get a #1 next week? I just wish for some reason she has a surge in sales and she can nab a BB #1. That'll be so amazing!
