  1. Oh dear!

Aah thanks.... for some reason I thought he had the Kylie style chart runs where she usually falls by a few places in the 2nd week. She's rarely had a song post PWL that's stayed in the same position or climbed!

I'm surprised Calvin's still at #2. Isn't he famed for having Kylie style falls in the 2nd week?

    Succe$$!
  5. Glad to see another Brit doing so well, although I personally thought his album was BO-RRRING!
  6. I heard the song finally (well, on youtube) and whilst it's not my favourite Marina song, I can see why it's doing well (of all her songs) - it sounds very mainstream and very Lana Del Ray meets Gaga.
  7. Disappointing for Ed Sheeran given the amt of publicity and good will he's gotten here. Happy for Alex and really happy for Olly.
  8. So bye-bye 1st album then! 1st single from the 2nd album out in the autumn.
  9. Previous thread: Daily US Airplay Updates - JAN-JUL 2012 Agree there...she does seem to be in danger of becoming that given how well such a eurofriendly song has taken off on US radio.
  10. With Ellie announcing her 2nd album details, maybe she's hoping stations stop playing Lights and they can focus on the new song ("Anything could happen"?)
  11. Shame how Flo Rida does so well on iTunes/sales but is never able to pull it big enough on airplay that he can nab an overall #1. Ellie needs to climb :(
  12. I noticed.... basically only Katy Perry is her threat.
  13. So a 75th week in the top 10 for Adele then? This 1D album really is doing the business, isn't it?!
  14. Amazing to see Ellie doing so well!
  15. Ellie and Calvin continue to gain!
  16. Agree. That';s also been avail on US iTunes from forever.
  17. Is Calvin becoming the new Guetta? Are they going ahead with the Example song as the next US release considering Example is a nobody here?
  18. More than boring, the top 10 has become so darn slow. :( It's always 3-4 songs moving up or down a notch and tons of non-movers.
  19. 8 Brits in the top 40 = 20%. Very impressive. Remember the days of 2000-01 when we'd be lucky to have 1 in the top 40 every 4-5 months!
  20. I am a bit worried about Ed Sheeran now. Seeing the runaway success of 1D and The Wanted, I thought Ed would be cakewalk as the song seems suited to all kinds of format.... but it's just not picking up. It needs some kind of boost like a late night talk show perf, but the problem is he did most of them leading up to the album release. :(
  21. True, but all 1D needed was a song. They've become the current craze irrespective of how many hits singles they've had unlike The Wanted who are the "band that sang GYC".
  22. Good grief... btn the 2, I don't know which one is underperforming more!
  23. How is airplay for Alex Clare? I notice in the last few days the song's gone top 25 on iTunes.
  24. I really want Guetta to LEAVE!

As for singles, Conor's sales I reckon are frontloaded so Florence can get a 3rd week at #1. Wow, who'd have thought?!
