  1. Thanks Tommy. So 9.34mil then.... she should easily do 10mil by the end of the year!
  2. Are some of us seriously preaching others not to like a song because the singer is homophobic??!
  3. Also, as she sold about 5.8mil copies last year, she's about 600K shy of hitting the 10mil mark right? She should do that easily by end of 2012.
  4. Thanks for the list Andy! I see both Adele and 1D gaining ever so slowly going fwd as both albums are now selling weekly in the 40-50K range and I doubt they'll go any higher. 1D could with a 3rd single and TV spots, but for Adele, guess "21" is ,well I hate saying "over" because it's done so well but it will take a miracle (a TV special or a TV appearance) for the album to sell 100K+ again. It will be amazing if she gets a Thxgvng TV spot! (like a repaet of the NBC London special).
  5. Very. Hopefully though their names will be remembered enough for when they do return with the 1st single off their next album.
  6. RIP is an awful song unless they get a Kanye West or Pitbull to do the Tinie rap. But agree, Rita's career is hardly over.... it's just beginning. She's got Jay Z's backing, that's nothing to take lightly!
  7. I was sadly one of those that called it this year's Bulletproof :( And yep, given Cher's risee on both airplay and sales, I presume another big healthy jump next week into the Top 40. This is really amazing.... except for Matt, each of the other 3 finalists have had a hit on the BB100 or BB200. I wonder whom Cowell will push from this year's. Little Mix I'm sure (using the romance of one of the girls with the 1D boy). and perhaps Misha B?
  8. TBH, given her airplay rise and consistent sales, a #2 hit is guaranteed if not a #1. Her only threat as I see it is Katy Perry's Wide Awake but that's not really burning its way up the airplay chart as her former songs have. Ellie can catch her in no time....
  9. Nice update for Cheryl, decent enough for Cher Lloyd and Calvin, but :( @ Rita going down.
  10. I look at these sales and go wow, poor Kylie can only DREAM of such sales!
  11. I just heard it, it sounds like a Guetta type dance song? So much so for the fabulous "Fireflies" :(
  12. That Jessie J/Guetta song is awful. I hope US radio doesn't play it seeing the Guetta tag.
  13. Good point - if Katy has to peak on the BB100 and get another #1, it will have to be before Lights as WA is so far leading Lights.
  14. Nero at 90 now. In contrast, poor Ed Sheeran's been struggling in the 120s and 130s!
  15. The song could really make a big jump on the BB 100 given how quickly it's risen.
  16. How come Nero are climbing? They just entered the 100.
  17. LOL, I was thinking the same too. But actually billboard.biz had a great article recently about how music execs are including the LGT community really early on and Marina was listed as one of those acts they're targeting for the US market. Surprisingly Primadonna is doing well on the Aus iTunes and went top 30 in Germany.
  18. I was gonna say... I just hope Ed gets more radio support. So far it's abyssmal.
  19. Yeah, as predicted, that Jay Leno appearence did nothing!
  20. Outside of whether "One thing" is a good song or not, given the high prfile 1D have in the US right now, I'm surprised it's taking so long to climb the chart .Could it be because stations are still playing WMYB?
  21. Have the Madonna and Cheryl song been sent to US radio?
  22. Agree Tommy...but I was/am hoping for a Top 50 peak at least!
  23. Another good set of updates for Ellie, Calvin/NeYo and Cher Lloyd. Come on Wanted!!
  24. Haven't heard of HAC. But for the most part, A+, AC and AAA are used interchangeably.
  25. Ellie will cruise into the top 10, no doubts.
