  1. She's doing the radio round now ,and what pleases me is instead of the usual top cities, she's going to smaller cities/states like Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, etc. If a Z100 NYC or KIIS-FM LA playlist her, she's as good as gold.
  2. Good God at The Wanted! But nice to see Ellie, Calvin/NeYo and 1D's "1 thing" all doing well.
  3. "How we party" song BTW, Ed Sheeran #1 on the iTunes album chart :D And the regular version of the album is at 24.
  4. Cher Lloyd up to 70 and Rita Ora finally gets inside the 100. Ed Sheeran peaked at 162.
  5. Emeli Sande not in the top 50?! She's been top 20 on the iTunes album chart so at the very least I was hoping for a top 40 debut.
  6. Well that would make sense. Also I'm noticing Cher Lloyd going up again, 83 on the chart. Who would've thought 3-4 yrs ago that the US iTunes would become home to so many UK X Factor alumni? :)
  7. Ellie's album needs to re-peak! Especially if Lights goes Top 10 soon, which it might given the slow rise in sales and airplay. what's she pushing for a 2nd single?
  8. I'd like that, but what I don't understand is that I thought it would happen a lot faster as he's been getting really good press of the get-go unlike Ellie who had to work for it. Plus he seemed to have built an online following, got lots of internet coverage and the 1D connection.
  9. Agree. Also Ed Sheeran reached his highest peak thus far at 169.
  10. jmarkiv posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
What ppl are failing to notice is that this song has had more airplay than Promise This. And to my knowledge, the only diff btn Cheryl now and then is that she's not on our screens on Saturday night. But, she's still always on the radio and in the news.
  11. 1D's and Wanted's airplay for the 2nd single is kinda confusing. It's still hard to call them a flop or hit. Edge to 1D as it's doing well on iTunes and on the strength of sales alone should go top 40.
  12. With about 12K copies sold. Not bad for an artist who's had virtually no airplay, but I was hoping that radio stations would pick up on NRBL after her 2 TV appearances. She returns to Jay Leno end of June so hopefully sthg will work out then.
  13. Yep. So much different than the 2000-05 days when all you had were rappers.
  14. That actually sounds decent enough. She could have herself a moderate Hot 100 hit after all.
  15. OMG! But not surprised considering the world needed a sugary sweet boyband AND with the power of social media, it's spreading like wildfire.
  16. i believe so, that's how it was in the 90s but don't know if it's changed.
  17. 1D on "Good Morning America" trow.... expect another increase in sales... this album is going to sell and sell in the summer. And I'm sure Cowell will have them once if not twice on X Factor come autumn.
  18. I doubt it. I'm noticing that her updates go through these "phases" - one day she's gaining 1mil audience and another day she's gaining in small %age.
  19. Thanks Tommy! So going by the HDD data provided today, Adele can add on another 60K to her total, and about 40K for 1D which would mean as of now, 1. Adele, 21 3.42mil 4. One Direction, Up All Night 735K
  20. True, nothing like hvaing radio play 2 songs of yours!
  21. I can see that Adele NBC doco having the effect already - all songs on the rise. RITD at #55. Just how many more copies will this song sell?!
  22. 11 weeks in the BB 200, that's amazing! The tour should keep it in the top 10 for another month at least.
  23. What's 1D's US chart run so far of the album? US sales must be 700K, and the tour comes to the US in 2 weeks right?
  24. Hmmm... that Gotye song seems to keep gaining and gaining. Depending on the lead Carly has on itunes, I guess Gotye will hold down the #1 position for the next 2 weeks if sales are close as Carly's got a long way to gain in airplay. (US charts are so slow!) As for other updates, it's really hit or miss these days isn't it? You have songs like Calvin Harris/Ne-yo or Ellie Goulding that gain in 1mil a day, and then 0.0XX the next so it's hard to say if they've taken off or not. Yay for Cher Lloyd (not htat I like her, but good to see UK acts doing well here). Can we start tracking Rebecca Ferguson and ed Sheeran?
  25. Agree. Big hit PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE :D
