  1. No, the only 2 promo's Rebecca's done so far have been the Today Show and The Voice, and performed "NRBL" on both shows. She's performing on Jay Leno show sometime end of June. Guess the song is charting based on word of mouth. Given the current landscape, it is a gorg song though!
  2. :cheer: Finally, Mr.Sheeran... now break the 200 barrier please!
  3. AGREE The song's more famous than the band. Having said that, the label and the band are both invested in cracking the States so they may try for another round and get more American friendly songs.
  4. Doing well in the US iTunes album chart... been yo-yo'ing between 8 - 12 the last 3 days. That should hopefully be good for a Top 30 debut on the BB 200?
  5. It's also good to see Olly Murs in the US iTunes. I had no idea they were reworking Heart Skips a Beat with Chiddy Bang on it
  6. He was referring to Cher Lloyd! As for The Wanted, they're running into the problem most boybands do - the 2nd single. In 1D's case, "1 thing" is like WMYB but 1D themselves have become stars so radio is playing their songs. Wanted haven't yet become the boyband du jour like 1D, so this song is just like any follow-up and will have to do well on its own merit.
  7. How is Rebecca Ferguson doing?
  8. Tommy, I'm easily saying that 1D will sell 2mil by the end of the year. The buzz is only just beginning, and "One thing" is gaining airplay. A 3rd single (no doubt with an X Factor app.) and some sort of holiday special (either for Thxgvng or Xmas) will sell the album. After sales for last week are in trow, the album should've sold more than 700K.
  9. She delivered a fairly nervous performance of NRBL on the Today Show in the US, her first TV appearance but looks like it was well received. The single is today's (this week's?) free single on iTunes, and the album is currently at #17 on iTunes (quite a good/high start for her!). She's got some more promo lined up (Jay Leno show, and the other show with the 5 ladies inc. Whoopi, can't remember the name). As for the ARIA charts, Heaven is up 14 places to #28 and NRBL reaches a new peak of #14.
  10. So looks like 1D's US tour is paying off on the album chart. Is this the 8th week inside the top 10 for them then? I was at a mall recently and passed by a bookshop, and was stunned at how many 1D magazine covers there are at the moment!
  11. I guess I can finally stop living in denial and admit that Wanted's CTS is a flop! :D But good to see Ellie rising. Calvin's "Let it go" is also doing pretty well, and both 1D songs getting radio support as well. Rebecca Ferguson has 2 national TV spots next week so hopefully radio stations will take note and start playing NRBL?
  12. Kylie upto 81 now! Not bad at all!
  13. Kylie's Timebomb at 98!!
  14. That's what I've heard too, but I think it has more to do than just 1D. But with this kind of publicity, roll on Rebecca Ferguson!
  15. It's sounding very interesting. Almost sounds like they're doing a Leona ("Hurt") - just release a one-off to make sure she's seen as relevant by radio and the charts.
  16. With the GMA appearance, the sales should go up. Airplay is rising so we could see a top 20 berth for her.
  17. Nice update, thanks again for the list. Shocked at Wanted CTS gain this week, it's JUST NOT picking up, is it? In contrast, "1 thing" is doing fairly well given that radio is still onboarding "WMYB". How are Emeli Sande "Next to me" and Ed Sheeran "A Team" doing?
  18. Is this her 2nd time or has she been on GMA before?
  19. Agree, but I really would think that they'd go with A team considering her's performed that on all his TV perf's here, plus it's been a proven intl hit. I just wonder why it's not taking off on radio... it could be a major hit.
  20. At 82... wow, I really didn't think this song would take off. I mean poor Rebecca's been out for over 3 months and I've not seen "Nothing's real but love" rear its pretty head even once inside the top 200. Or forget Rebecca, what about our beloved Kylie who performed GOMW on AGT and still no sign!
  21. Cher at 94!
  22. Expected sales... congrats to Adam for getting to #1 with virtually no airplay. Adele's sales should plateau a bit this week, before the NBC 1st week June documentary which should see sales on the up again, could hit 100K. With this, Adele's 2012 YTD sales stand at a little over 3.3mil?
  23. I think radio is tied btn both 1D songs, but no excuses for The Wanted. Will CTS even crack the Hot 100 at this rate?!
  24. jmarkiv posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
I actually don't want fun to get to #1 becauese I want them to be this year's "Move like Jagger" or "love the way you lie", but I think they'll make it unless The Wanted pull out some major promo twds the week (which might be doubtful, aren't they in the US?).
