So The Wanted are really way way way behind fun. then?! :( Also Flux Pavillion now at #53!!

At the rate fun. are gaining on airplay, looks like it'll be a tuff battle for The Wanted to get to #1. Glad to see Calvin going up in 1mil+ chunks everyday, and I see Gotye's increasing his gains too!

Hopefully Ellie gets a new peak trow!

I'm always amazed at how songs successful in the US do so so so well in Australia. I had accidentally set my iTunes to Australia last night and this morning I was browsing through the singles and for a minute, I thought it was the US until I saw some local act outside the top 10 and realised that it's Australia! fun. are topping the Oz iTunes as well (nothing wrong with that, nice song), but I'm amazed how Oz radio will pick up anything the minute it's a US hit.

Nice to see The Wanted steadily climbing up, but :( @ fun. catching up as well. Calvin silently racks up another 1mil+ update, and Adele also quietly doing her thing. Shame mainstream radio isn't playing the Gotye song much :(

Final sales in - "21" close to 250K copies this week. Will this album stop selling? Now at 2mil+ US sales for 2012, right?

Do you know how those spins translate into audience gains? (like +1.6mil, etc.)?

I was going to say. I'm just stunned at how well this band has been marketed. Think of the hugely successful acts (in the UK) from the past, no one's had this kind of hype built around them on their 1st release in teh US since the Spice Girls.

I take it 1D's jump up both charts coincides with their Oz/NZ tour annoucement. Also good to se Labrinth and Prof Green going up.

Oh, that's it?! I know it's a lot, but for some reason I thought it had crossed the 5mil mark already, esp. given that it's been around forever.

Adele's mgr said they are planning on shooting a video for RHI so hopefully that'll add to the airplay and sales. I wonder what Stateside promo Adele is planning for it.

That list said Taio's Dynamite was at 5.9mil. Surely "Someone like you" can't be far behind, and could potentially overtake it by the end of 2012? How is SFTTR doing in terms of total sales?

Yay! Wonder when we'll start tracking them on this list. As for the Wanted, I'd love for them to get to #1 but aren't fun. leading quite a bit on sales? And by the time Wanted catch up on sales, fun.'s airplay also would've increased so it could be neck to neck.

I like that 1D's management knows who their target audience is and is milking it.

Noticed that, but that's at the end of March. But they got themselves lots of promo on that Nickolodean channel by hosting some show for the next few weeks or so. It's amazing how UK based acts are so "easily" getting promo slots in the US these days.

I hope fun. slow down so The Wanted can take over #1 on BB100 eventually!!!

It's kind of interesting how fun. and Gotye are doing very well on sales and have been 'accepted' by the public and yet crawling at a slow rate on radio. Gotye esp.... the song is pop-enough to be played on mainstream pop radio. No clue why it's not picking up.
