  1. Is the Priyanka Chopra/Pitbull "Exotic" song getting any airplay? It's been in the 90s/80s on iTunes for 4 days now and I'm sure it's not just Indian expats and Bollywood lovers who are keeping it there...
  2. PRIYANKA CHOPRA!! Wow, never thought I'd see the day!
  3. Another hit for Rihanna! :o

It's really been an amazing run for La La La hasn't it?! That and the Passenger song are totally flying under the radar thanks to the Daft Punk and Blurred Lines' hype.

#1 without a thought! 2013 is such a great year for DANCE!!
  6. Thanks for sharing. It's really amazing to see how well James Arthur has done outside of the UK, that too with the winner's/cover single!
  7. It took me a while to figure out that you were referring to Labrinth. :) The song's suddenly gone up the iTunes chart to #58 so I'm thinking it could re-enter next week. Outpeak, I don't know...but at least re-enter? Also it's nice to see Calvin climbing so stealthily to another US top 20 hit! That's quite amazing considering his genre (bar Guetta) only ever produces 2 hits for the same artist.
  8. Where are Little Mix and Ed Sheeran's Lego House?
  9. That could be it .... Vetted at home to a point where XF being their origin isn't even an issue any more.
  10. Could intl X Factor alumni (Olly, 1D, Little Mix, Rebecca Fergusson, Cher Lloyd, etc.) have had the advantage in that no one really paid attn. to the "X Factor" tag but more of the "international artist" tag?
  11. I was just thinking today.... almost all other X Factor winners and a few runners-up seem to have a hit in their own country with their solo material. Weird how US X-F alumni haven't made a splash on the chart at all, whilst a lot of foreign XF alumni have done better in the US! If it were down to radio bias "I won't play an XF alumni on my radio show", why would they play a foreign XF alumni's song then?! Quite an interesting pattern... I wonder if US XF will last beyond S3.
  12. And bye bye Little Mix and US domination I s'pose?!
  13. Is it just me or is this Calvin/Ellie song just going under the radar and becoming a sleeper hit? It seems to be climbing 5+ every week which is amazing for a pop/dance track in the US!
  14. Hmmmm... so is it safe to say that Little Mix 'Wings' has been a flop? And Emeli Sande's really not going to be this year's Adele, is she? :D
  15. Thanks for the list. So is the Labrinth song playlisted on US radio? It seems to be going up on iTunes again.
  16. Thanks for the list. I wonder if Adele will ever catch up to "I gotta feeling". Eitheway all time #2 is great. And look at Gotye! I suspect by next year this time, Passenger will also be in the top 20.
  17. Nice to see Calvin sneaking up the charts....
  18. I see Passenger "Let her go" has entered the US iTunes 100.
  19. I see Passenger "Let her go" has entered the US iTunes 100.
  20. The 2012 report came out half way through 2013?! :D Eitherway, good news for 2012 but I really don't see that happening this year. The only British artist that can break the US (which accounts for the lion share) is Emeli Sande and whilst the album is doing well, it's hardly doing 1D or Adele type sales. Same goes for Ed Sheeran - he's selling steadily in the US but not more than 10K a week.
  21. Didn't LM's "US radio tour" last for only 3 weeks as they had to rush back to the UK to promote that crap Missy Elliot song?
  22. I actually came to this thread to post the same thing! It really hasn't/isn't working out is it? I mean, in their defence, they haven't made a single TV app. yet, so that could perhaps help.... but I'm just surprised that Cowell had arranged everything so well for 1D (TV apps and promos to tie in with the album release) whereas, dare I say it, it's almost as if he doesnt' want them to succeed in the US the way 1D did, to allow for local X Factor alums (like that Emblem) to do well? For a label that really hit the spot with all the UK alums (Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Fergusson, Olly, etc.), they're really screwing up big time with the Mixers.

So Mark Brennan is back! :D
  24. So still no sign of Little Mix?! is it safe to say they've "flopped"?
