hmmm I wonder how releasing the single as soon as it hits radio will affect its chart performance? I'm sure it'll get a boost when he performs live anyway. I hope it's a good song & not just a leftover as he doesn't want people to start seeing him as a more of a presenter than a pop star. More danger of that with him fronting the main show.

All his late singles struggle, all his early ones do well, it's not a sign of a major downturn. In fact his profile will raise even more as a presenter on X Factor. That should help sales. Probably a performance from him as well to boost his album sales. btw did anyone see that Murs has 3 of the top 40 highest selling albums of the century? The lad done good.

Not with me, always the most expensive place. Sometimes I would go in to have a look at what new stuff was out, but also be thinking to myself what morons the people shopping there were. A few may have been doing the same thing though!

Olly himself has said he was disappointed in the Toublemaker video & it's not great. Bad acting, plain love interest, everything is bad about it. One saving grace is that it actually features the rapper lol. The Up one is simple & it doesn't look cheap like most of his others. It is a positive song but if you listen to the lyrics, things aren't going well in the relationship. They shoulda probably featured the broken heart on a window pain etc but time & cost were obviously an issue. Two busy artists. I hope he works with those two directors again for his next one.

1. X Factor single 2. Uptown Funk 3. Up this week then. tbh I've seen worse top 3s at this time of year. I know Ben's songs is a cover & a default number 1 but it suits him well, better than most X Factor Christmas number 1s. & the other two are good songs.

I thought Olly would have more songs off his album tbh, that Earth Wind & Fire medley was pointless. There should be minimal boosts for his new songs apart from Wrapped Up & Never Been Better
