  1. He's in Berlin today, reaching Hoff like levels of fame over there! Well almost. Yeah one performance proves it, nice snap judgement there. But all the great performances he gives on tour should be discounted? I think not. He was clearly nervous you just had to look at his face, he actually thinks the Brits are a big deal for some reason. As for Best Male, yeah I have to agree then but if it was fan voted he would win it.
  2. Is Murs top of the German charts atm? Top on their Itunes apparently anyway. He's in Berlin today, first German promotion he's done so he's done well to climb so high without it.
  3. Bit of a shame about his Brits performance, he was clearly very nervous and the choreography and camera angles were a mess. You know what, I think he woulda won best male if he was nominated, he has more fans than any of the others nominated. Alot of people were scratching their heads over who Jame Blake was... considering it was a fan vote he was a wasted nomination.
  4. Wow the chart is really weak right now.
  5. Oh my goodness released 1st of April. I wonder if he's gonna get a new album out this year? I doubt he's gonna follow his album release pattern with his next effort...
  6. Tbh they could release next month for all the input they'll have in it. It could take a while to source the songs and shape the sound etc though I suppose. I reckon they'll do well, we'll see.
  7. AHAHAAHAAA! If this is what Gary Barlow career guidance is like, he's better off without it! What the hell is that? Taking an indie song (already annoying certain people there) and destroying the most catchy part of it, which is the riff. It's boring and actually pretty annoying by the time Marcus has trotted out his "Uhs" and his other bad habits. And it's actually a cover of a cover which is plumbing new depths really. He's a nice guy I wish the best to but WOW. I thought Joe McElderry was badly handled, looks like we ain't see nuthin yet.
  8. Yep. The 3rd single isn't even getting a release til March, it's pretty damn obvious he'll be performing HSAB anyway as it's nominated for best single! Olly had more of a chance of winning best male as he won that at the BT Digital awards and the 4music video awards against stiff competition. Plus One Direction fans are sad beyond belief and are voting in shifts or something for WMYB judging by twitter trends. Nevermind, it's only the zero credibility Brits. I see Olly is doing Let's dance for Sport relief with Scott Mills. He must have a good chance of winning that judging by the no marks he's up against. Also he has a 3 part tv show based around his upcoming tour... His profile is only gonna get bigger this year, with Xtra Factor and all the panel shows as well, he's something of a tv personality.
  9. Yeah he's going over to Germany at some point as HSAB is doing well there and he went to Austria at the end of last year. I reckon he'll go to Poland and places like that where his songs are already known as well. He's gonna concentrate on Europe for the future, it depends of course on if is musical style changes to translate better to an America audience, but he's selling alot of records domestically so he doesn't really have to bother. Bizarrely HOMS had more airplay than Umbrella! Busy should have been the 3rd single, it got it's airing on the M&S ad though I suppose. The 4th shoulda been I blame Hollywood.
  10. ^ Shit song. Ruined the top 5. Prefer the song it sampled.

Video games gets less special the more you hear it. Glad it doing well though.
  12. Aaargh Olly only number 6. Nevermind, should be a good top 5 apart from On the floor. At least he beat flippin Nicole.
  13. Kesha top ten with that shitty song? Deary me. 1. Take a bow 2. Unfaithful 3. Umbrella 4. Cheers 5. What's my name? Hard to seperate them though, all great pop songs.
  14. What a relentlessly depressing film, there really was no respite. Very good but I'm never watching it again. Now I'm gonna go and watch something feel good I think...
  15. Hope this is good, I like Nic Hoult, great young actor, brilliant in Skins.

Loved this film. It was basically 'Rocky' + 'Over the top' with robots but its predictability doesn't really matter. Imagine seeing this film as a kid, you'd have loved it. Alot of people are too jaded and cynical about films these days, myself included at times, but there's nothing wrong with a bit of movie magic once in a while. The kid actor was great, Hugh Jackman was a big presence and Evangeline Lily was perfect for her role, gorgeous woman. So is Olga Fonda, what a fox. All the elements were in place to make it a brilliant example of a feel good film.
  17. Really good film. Fro what I've seen, the best films of last year for me: 1. 50/50 2. Drive Unfortunately I haven't seen alot of the better films due to most being released towards the end of the year.
  18. Well it's a pity the OP has died. Was looking forward to seeing the top 10 as well. Nevermind.
  19. I think people are just expressing their surprise tbh. The public perception is that she's she's still massively successful but after her first album sales you'd expect her to sell the amount she has of her second album almost automatically, she really has bombed. It's quite a change so you can't blame people for remarking on it. She obviously has talent but atm she's better at being in the papers than selling songs. I guess her high profile and the good will she earned from her debut sales sales will keep her safe anyway so no cause for alarm.
  20. Someone Like You will win.
  21. Little Mix and Misha B will be big, they have a ready made fanbase and an easy transition because of their styles. Maybe someone like Gabrielle Aplin will break through... http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=FLUlAyaZIqK3Taez76rqsG7Q&feature=mh_lolz
  22. I agree that she's talented but face it her album has flopped. Her songs aren't very good this era, time to go back to the drawing board for her. I can see her label pairing her with top writers for her next album. She has the looks, the voice, the promotion, the profile and the potential fanbase but her songs are letting her down.
  23. It's chart performance was probably something like #20 then straight out the top 40. It's currently got more plays than Dance with me tonight! Busy crept on the list as well despite peaking at #45. Olly's radio pluggers are doing him proud. Everything he's released made the list, even his two flops. 61 . Olly Murs . Please don’t let me go . 67,660 110 . Olly Murs . Heart skips a beat . 54,578 175 . Olly Murs . Thinking of me . 42,028 481 . Olly Murs . Heart on my sleeve . 20,902 494. Olly Murs . Dance with me tonight 20,201 901 . Olly Murs . Busy . 10,527 Oh and... 481 . Olly Murs . Heart on my sleeve . 20,902 >>> 490 . Rihanna . Umbrella . 20,444  Thanks for that list Danny, hilarious stuff.
  24. 481 . Olly Murs . Heart on my sleeve . 20,902  WTF. Not even Olly Murs fans like that one.
  25. Yeah of course it is. FLOP.
