Sunday Chart Predictions
Yeah the X Factor single will be a stocking filler for some of the less discerning shoppers. There's now way Olly was gonna do 1600 yesterday after only catching up 200 the day before.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Wonder if someone like the official chart twitter will help us out with the gap between Olly and x Factor at some point today? Wonder how many Lloyd has sold as well? Between those 3 IMO. The top 2 albums are pretty much set in stone but Olly could take over Rebecca.

Radio 1 shake up
Not bothered. I listen to the radio 1 playlist on youtube every month to make sure I'm not missing anything but I don't listen unless an artist I like is being interviewed or doing a live lounge. I have better things to do with my time than to hear Fearne Cotton droning on about her boring life/being a sycophant over some band she thinks will make her look cool. Crap DJs, too much talk.

First Number One of 2012
It depends on who wins XF and with what song. Lloyd will have his work cut out to beat them but he could do it.

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
Damn charity! They get enough! Anyway isn't it something like only £1 per album?
-
iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
The fact that it's a cash in album irks me more. cashing in on death? Ugh.

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
Don't get carried away, it's just a poor sales week, no big hitters are releasing singles.

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
Well the Lloyd single is popular cos it's very Bruno Mars esque and it's actually very good. Or maybe it's just the rapping pussy. The T-Pain single though, well that's flat out autotune abuse, albeit with clever sample use.

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
More like 8% in real terms though. EDIT: T Pain's lead has just shot up.

Sunday Chart Predictions
I'd take encouragement from that X Factor drop off trend if DWMT hadn't done the same thing as the other X Factor related songs! That said, it's in a different position to it's first week as there's more awareness of the song now so it's weeks sales aren't frontloaded. We need to know how far behind Lloyd is really, under 6,000 copies cos he's ahead of Jessie J, but how far behind is he?

Sunday Chart Predictions
I'm disappointed in that, I was hoping Olly would have closed by as many as 500 copies. I reckon they'll still have a lead of at least 1,200 at the end of today and they'll get a boost because of physicals on Saturday. If things continue like this they'll beat Olly IMO becuase that Itunes gap between them obviously isn't counting for much and it's only increasing slowly. At these snail pace sales Lloyd could snatch it if he continue his surge.

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
Well of course he could, he's still ahead of both of them combined so that changes nothing! And that's just on the Itunes chart, he'll be a decent way ahead of both in sales. Flo Rida and T Pain overtaking Olly doesn't matter in regard to the future official number 1. The gap between Olly and X Factor which is about 50% atm and still increasing bit by bit is the one to watch. Maybe just as important, Lloyd isn't far off Olly combined and was 3rd in the chart last count, he will need more movement though. Only those 3; Olly, X Factor, Lloyd, have a shot IMO.

"Collide" • Official Thread
She should have done this song for her lead single tbh... Would have been a smash hit.

Gary Barlow going solo again?
BuzzLightyear posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatThe first night sounded really good on youtube at any rate. Murs did a great version of Shine. Gary was funny and did a surprise dance routine during Pray.

Future
BuzzLightyear posted a post in a topic in Robbie Williams and Take That's Robbie Williams and Take ThatI'm glad Robbie is out for the next album, he ruined Progress for me, I found it a weak album. I really liked the direction they were going down before he joined, I hope they get back to that.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Olly must have BATTERED The X Factor collective today. How many copies has he made up on the 1800 lead do we reckon?

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
keep on sliding X Factor finalists (plus One Direction and JLS). I hope Olly ribs them all about it if he defeats them. They should have put him on the record as well, hell, bring back Leona and throw in Alexandra and really try and polish a turd. It's been a bad year for charity singles!

They haven't had any great hits.

I'd put Matt ahead of Cher tbh Bre.

Sunday Chart Predictions
DWMT is 40% more popular than XF atm. But with low overall sales it's gonna take longer to claw the lead back so it'll be a a close one. Do we know how far off the pace Lloyd is?

Rebecca Ferguson - Heaven
This album is selling great guns at the minute! No one is gonna want to win X factor this year with 1D, Olly and now Rebecca (or she'll be close) going over 100k first week!
-
Sunday Chart Predictions
Fingers crossed! I think it's important to remember that Rebecca has alot of preorders so I wouldn't be surprised if Olly pips her to 3. Not that it matters though as she might sell as much first week as Matt and Cher put together, it's all about the sales. No one cares if you're at 3 or 4, not much difference, the top 4 will all do 100k plus IMO.

Sunday Chart Predictions
Oh great I reckon Olly is gonna gobble up that poxy lead considering they've started dropping off on Itunes like they did last week! Thanks.

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (I)
Apparently Olly is hot on the heels of the X Factor single so I'm looking for a drop off from X Factor on this chart that's similar to last week. Hopefully Olly does it.
