  1. I'm surprised Olly isn't ahead of Clean Bandit, I know it' not a fairly generic song but it's slayed the radio playlists.
  2. 'Dangerous' should be number 1 if we're going by the quality of the songs. No matter for Olly anyway, I reckon his album will be number 1, that's more of an indication of the status as an artist whereas with singles you need the luck of the draw.
  3. well Olly & Clean Bandit could be really close & for all we know Olly could be on the verge of overtaking them. Not that it matters, 2 or 3 no real difference, no chance of number 1 for either of them so it doesn't matter. why?
  4. should be able to get number 2. He's on the number 1 anyway so a good week for him overall.
  5. Surely Olly will be number 1 when Itunes updates... great performance & alot of exposure tonight. Another dud of a song from Sherzinger, won't do much. At least she was on first, Olly sells ALOT more so only right.
  6. yeah Dangerous is a good song.
  7. Wrapped up is a grower, it's exactly the sort of thing alot of people like. A song that sounds familiar, like a few other songs, catnip for radio. I like Beautiful to me the most of the songs I've heard so far. Maybe Up will be the next single if he's done an acoustic version with Demi.
  8. He has an ITV special coming up, that should really help shift the album. Anyone know when ITV are showing that? It just occurred to me it might not be this year.
  9. How exactly is there less hype around him? Things look the same a usuual to me. The radio pluggers put in the hard yards getting him in the top echelon of airplay, he goes on X Factor, then he sells loads of records. Standard. Yeah I agree, the videos are his fault, he obviously doesn't want to spend much on them & he needs to get better directors. I'm hopeful Columbia will wanna spend more for the American version, hope Travie turns up for that one.
  10. Top 5? Are you familiar with Olly's sales figures? He'd get top 5 in his sleep.
  11. bragged about taking a girl back to his hotel & got a girl pregnant before joining the X Factor, the kid ain't gay.
  12. lol is that some kind of joke? I'm taking that as a joke.
  13. waste of time for Nicole, her song will do nothing.Olly will get strong sales though & thsi will help. Smashing it on airplay anyway though.
  14. He's getting screwed on the single charting but he should be able to nail another number 1 album. I would have released it earlier to get great sales & cash in on Christmas after they start to slow down like he did last time. I reckon this album will see a slight decline in sales dependent on how catchy the singles are. The Demi Lovato song could give the album a boost if it's a single. btw the video for Wrapped Up looks cheap & Travie McCoy not even in it cos he couldn't make it, just as bad as the Troubelmaker video which he's admitted to being disappointed in. I mean the lyrics vid looks better.
  15. I feel like Olly is getting screwed over by the rush release of Band Aid in mid November, I mean wtf??? He hasn't got a prayer of beating it. It's gonna be terrible with that quick turnaround in recording & release but it's for charity & it has everyone on it, it's a sure fire number 1. Oh well, at least he's on it. Doubt he'll have a solo but still. He would have got number 1. I mean wow you woulda thought they'd at least edit it for a week with all those artists on it, unlucky.
  16. I expected Army of two to be a bigger hit but Dear Darlin looks set to be his most popular post album single. Both are being handled badly. Troublemaker sold a million so he hardly flopped did he. Dance with me tonight will do well for him as well. A top 20 album is awesome for a British artist. Several sold out shows there too. Right place right time could do well if released as well.
  17. I doubt he'll have to give much money back to his creditors, he'll be back making profit in no time. The bulk of the money he'll get will be from gigs, he's got a guaranteed Westlife contingent that'll fill his venues, a theatre tour could be very lucrative so record sales won't matter. I do wonder if he wrote all the songs in part to get a larger slice of the pie!
  18. Strange he's not doing Dear Darlin, his post album release singles are always so shoddy!
  19. BuzzLightyear posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Tristar records, never heard of em and can't see much off Google about them either, flop! But hey credit for not doing covers I suppose as everyone expected him to.
  20. Thought he woulda charted higher with his album, maybe a physical copy would have helped as that's obviously where he's lost places. 3rd most played song? Wow that's amazing, maybe he shoulda sang that at the Logies.
  21. Yeah it's just a nostalgia-fest really but when 911 are the best it is taking the mick a bit! No doubt the actual tour is a bit more polished though.
  22. China Black - Searching, I used to love that song! Still sounds good now.
  23. Blue were good on Sorry seems to be the hardest word but terrible on All rise, Simon in particular was poor. 911 were the only ones to put energy into their performance by the looks of it. Bodyshakin was mad! Kevin from Liberty X might have the strongest voice actually.
  24. 911 seem to be the best live. There are some seriously shocking live vocals on display, my poor sister will have to sit through this tripe live, unlucky.
