iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 2nd December 2012
Bruno will be number 1 this week but the sales will be pretty poor and it could be quite close with Olly who is beating him right now. Tulisa could snatch number 1 with her latest dirge if she does an unusual performance on X Factor just by virtue of low sales.

Lawson - Chapman Square
The Vevo Lift ad for SITD was doing my head in as it's played before EVERY BLOODY VEVO VIDEO, so I finally relented and watched it and loved it. Wasn't too keen on them at first but I now appreciate them, good album.

Kelly Clarkson - Greatest Hits - Chapter One
She's a great singer. Since u been gone, Behind these hazel eyes and Breakaway are corkers. Check out her VH1 acoustic session on youtube, amazing stuff.

Tulisa - The Female Boss
Well all she had to do was produce two hit songs to precede the album and it would have sold alright but she doesn't have that 2nd hit to launch it. She's had plenty of time as I imagine she was looking at going solo and following Cheryl's path as soon as she took the X Factor job so Tulisa and her team have really dropped the ball here. Her X Factor place is surely under threat with the low ratings which would be a disaster for her career. She had a good first year with Little Mix which gained her fans with their close bond but now all her acts are out early and she has one controversy after another, she needs good news in the charts. There are already rumours of a return for Cheryl, can't see both of them on the panel.

Amelia Lily - You're Falling Apart So Shut Up
I thought she was gonna be an early Kelly Clarkson type but I think she's went down a route that will give her one big hit and that's it. Shame cos she's a quality vocalist, well we will see...

Tulisa - The Female Boss
10 copies were sold? Wow Tulisa must have 10 friends! Only joking, but this will not make any great waves in the charts. Well actually I wonder what numbers her record company are expecting her to do? People with Tulisa's profile and 'urban roots' seem to escape the cull after a flop and Cheryl's didn't seem to do much so she'll probably get a 2nd chance.

All X Factor finalists' top 200 hits
Army of two will hopefully draw Olly level with JLS on number 1s.
-
Olly Murs - Right Place Right Time
Dear Darlin or Sliding Doors for me. Imagine the video for Sliding Doors, could be very cool. I think Personal has a chance of being his 3rd single though, he seems to like that. As long as it's not Head to toe I don't mind.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 25th November 2012
Yeah Olly is still number 1 really almost 20% ahead, he's nailed on number 1 as the album version continues to rise. By the time Bruno cwtches up the lead will be unassailable.

This years X Factor guest performances boosts
Buble knows when he's onto a good thing, he's bound to throw his hat in the ring. Tbf to him his sales suggest he is worthy as he's perrenially popular.

iTunes Album Chart: 2013
Olly Murs (45,000). #2: 1D (18,700). #3: Girls Aloud (18,600) apparently. No Buble or Rihanna in the top 3 so not sure about the validity of that.

Olly Murs - Right Place Right Time
I thought the last album was very cohesive if you exclude HSAB. This one is more of a mixture of new more modern influences. You heard the deluxe version? He left 4 good songs off the album and left some crap ones in.

Olly Murs - Right Place Right Time
All the songs from the deluxe version in order of how good they are... Dear Darlin Gorgeous production, I hope he performs it like this instead of the Xtra Factor version Loud and clear Epic, love it Army of two Take That vs The Beatles, top song for the fans. Troublemaker Catchy as f#ck obviously. Hey you beautiful Moves like Jagger rip off but I still loved it and I prefer it to Moves like Jagger actually Personal The most original song on the album in that it doesn't bring anything else to mind, good song Sliding doors Coldplayesque, strong song, shoulda made the main album Just for tonight Shoulda made the album, but didn't even make the deluxe unless you preordered on Itunes. killer chorus albeit it weak verses. One of these days Almost as good as I need you now which remains his best ballad The one Good song, shoulda made the album proper Perfect night (To say goodbye) Good song shoulda made the album proper, sick of saying that but it's true! What a buzz Production on this song is bit weak (thin choruses especially) and it is a bit Brimful of Asha but it's still a good song and very Olly even though he didn't write it, probably alot of people's favourite Right place, right time Always wondered what an Olly dance record would sound like, the drum and bass elements to it were a shock but it grew into an impressive crescendo ^ and that selection of 13 songs should have been the main album Runaway Decent but unremarkable, good instrumentation Cry your heart out I don't see the point in covering a Cody Simpson song tbh and in any case it'd fit better on his last album, ok And the two songs that Olly must have a personal connection and played a big part in writing as otherwise he wouldn't keep them on the main album as all the deluxe songs are better are... Hand on heart Filler Head to toe Filler. Synopsis: Olly is clearly happy to hop from one influence to another so that's fine but he needs better quality control. Quality album if you rejig the songs into a top 13 from the order I put the deluxe version in.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 25th November 2012
If you look on the live Itunes popularity from 10 hours ago Bruno fell back to half Olly's popularity and Labrinth moved into 2nd on 0.8750. I'm glad Olly's 2nd version is number 28, he does still have a good cushion.

Labrinth is closing on Olly but Bruno is dropping like a stone. Dunno but it was on the Talk Talk ad in between X Factor ad breaks, that explains it.
-
iTunes Album Chart: 2013
I don't think Olly will beat 148k as that's a big ask but I do think he will sell more of this album overall.

iTunes Album Chart: 2013
Yeah the race for number 2 is seemingly between Rihanna and the Christmas s.l.u.t.
-
This years X Factor guest performances boosts
Now it would be a joke if that flopstar Leona got to perform on the final with her sales.

iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 25th November 2012
Murs has taken control of the album chart and he's holding off Bruno in the singles chart, he's looking good for the double.
-
iTunes Album Chart: 2013
I thought he'd destroy her but she seems to be holding him off on a few charts I've seen. That said, just had a look on Itunes and he's now #3 with his deluxe version and #7 with the regular one, only behind compilations. So hopefully he will be destroying her on the update tomorrow. Buble the Christmas $l*t could be number 2 actually.

Should A Featured Artist Be Given Full Chart Credit ??
Rizzle Kicks made HSAB better even though they were only on the song for a short amount of time, I get the point you're making but it's better to ensure everyone gets the credit they deserve.
-
iTunes Album Chart: 2013
Do you think he'll beat Rihanna? I think the fact he's only released one song before the album will hurt him a bit.

Music Purchases This Week: Week Beginning 26th November 2012
Deluxe version of Olly's album from Sainsburys Online, better arrive today considering they despatched it Thursday but it still hasn't arrived yet, aargh!
-
iTunes Album Chart: 2013
A contender no, actually thinking they'd beat Olly is a little absurd yes.
-
iTunes Weekly Thread: W/C 25th November 2012
So do we think Bruno will catch Olly then? He'd had a significant boost tbf! And will Olly beat Rihanna's album?
