I'd love to see them live at some point but their tour this year falls in quite a busy period for me oop. Hopefully they might do some more Summer shows/festivals next year! 'BRAT' holding two thirds of your top 3, how iconic :cheeseblock: There are few albums that I've actually felt compelled to listen to as much as 'BRAT' so well done on making such a memorable album Charli x. Delighted that 'Everything is romantic' has been a grower for you! 'lift off!' is a really fun bop from salute :wub: I'm about to check out their album, hype! Welcome to the 28th edition of Club Bizarre! It's the middle of the Summer and it's the primetime for vibing to dance and electronic music. As I won the last edition of Club Bizarre (a bit of a shock since my performances in Club Bizarre are typically bad oop) I will be your host for the latest edition :heart: Some may know me as a lil bit of a stan for hip-hop music, so I've decided the theme to be completely new and different for CB. Introducing 'Rap meets Dance'. 'Rap meets Dance' is an incredibly simplified title in comparison to what the theme is looking for, we aren't just looking for some dance songs with rap featured within them or some hip-house for example. I will be accepting any form of house, electronic + any other sub-genres of dance that feature primarily rapped or spoken word vocals. If your song has any sung vocals then that's fine to an extent, but the track must be majorly rapped or spoken e.g. I would accept a track with a sung chorus and fully rapped verses. If you're struggling to find inspiration or are unsure of what could fit the mould, I'll provide some examples of fitting entries. Examples (that obviously can't be entered) would be 'Baddadan' by Chase & Status (it does have some sung vocals but the vast majority is rapped), Sovarasman BJSC entry 'Alter Ego' by Doechii, 'Rumble' by Fred Again.., '212' by Azealia Banks and 'Her' by Megan Thee Stallion. Let's get started :cheer: But first, the vital rules.... RULES - Make sure that your entry falls under the Dance genre - essentially something that would be appropriate to post in this area of the forum. - Please don't send any huge commercial hits or well-known classics. The purpose of this contest is to expose our participants to songs that are firstly enjoyable and secondly new to their ears. Charli and Lorde have indeed slayed and served once again, I hope Lorde has a new album coming soon! 'Sympathy is a knife' coming to be the next song from 'BRAT' to gain top 10 status tomorrow? The Killers' performance of 'Your Side Of Town' at the date I went to of theirs was acoustic surprsingly! It sounded great though and was enough for that banger to re-enter. Agreed that an album in the 80s-influenced style from them would've been. The new Empire Of The Sun album is ahping up to be really good as well. Hi Jade! Lorde is such a fantastic songwriter, she was the perfect choice for this version imo! The 'Romance' era has indeed started with a bang, I hope they move the album forward/back a week or two so they get another #1 album! There will probably be more songs by James in the next edition of my chart, his set at Glasto was a must-watch for me! The Killers must be one of my fav bands of all-time, there are so many classics in their discography! Hi Sergej!
