Not a bad guess from last week that Billie would be #1 over here :cheeseblock: I'm delighted to see her slay here, 'HIT ME HARD AND SOFT' is a truly phenomenal album (potentially my fave of the year) and I can't wait to see Billie live :cheer: I mean, there is still over a year to go until she reaches the UK but still hyped Going back to the album, I'm specifically adoring the vocals and maturity within the lyrics. Finneas is such an incredible producer as well, the sibling chemistry is admirable :lol: Ooh, lovely to see Chappell Roan break the top 10 as well!

Hi Jim! Fantastic to see 'Falling Forever' and 'Running' in the top 10! The former has established itself as my favourite album track from 'Radical Optimism' and the latter is just more perfection from Fat Dog :heart: I'm also loving 'Metaverse', 'Don't Stop', 'Como Salv', 'Good Luck, Babe!' and 'Incognito' ofc :lol:

Hi Whoddy! Loving the top 5 here right now :wub: 'Look At My Body Pt. 2' is sounding especially great right now, loving to see Shygirl featuring on some relatively big name songs (praying for a UK chart credit someday x). 'Toro' is another fantastic single from Remi, hoping that the album will be one of the better releases this year! 'Atavista' was a lovely re-working of tracks from Donald Glover :heartL I saw quite a bit of criticism for Young Nudy's verse on 'Little Foot Big Foot' but I think it works perfectly well and actually makes the song even better!

Thank you so much Joesph for making these changes, I totally realise that this is certainly not a quick process for you so thank you for putting so much time into this :D

2024 has been year full of many ups and downs for me. Some of the albums released this year have been truly magnificent, my top 5 in order from best being Billie Eilish's latest beauty of an album, Vampire Weekend's sensational 'Only God Was Above Us', sax god Kamasi Washington's 'Fearless Movement', Justice's 'Hyperdrama' and the punch 'You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To' from Knocked Loose. I would say that The Smile, Ariana, Beyoncé, Four Tet & MGMT's latest albums would make up the rest of my top 10. We truly have been served :heart: The EPs this year have been fantastic as well: 'Club Shy' (from Shygirl), 'Unheard' (from Hozier) & 'Connla's Well' (from Maruja) all instantly stand out. As for the genre that I stan the most, hip-hop, there haven't been any particularly incredible records released (with an exception made for Yeat's wonderful '2093'). There have been some fantastic hip-hop tracks, many of which are a result of the Drake vs Kendrick feud, the best one being Metro Boomin's 'BBL Drizzy" :cheeseblock: Some great chart hits as well this year ('MILLION DOLLAR BABY' and 'Starburster' + 'Bandit' charting for their respective artists. Then again, some utter rubbish has been released. That god awful MGK X Trippie Redd EP, Nicki Minaj's 'Big Foot' + there are so many more. Too many stinkers for my liking :lol:

As for Taylor's continued domination here, I'm loving the new peaks for 'Florida!!!', 'How Did It End?', 'The Manuscript' & 'The Black Dog'. Also great to see the new peaks for two of my fav chart hits this year, 'Too Sweet' & 'i like the way you kiss me' :heart: Oooh, nice to see 'Dancing Star' enter as well! The new PSB album was quite good iirc.

Hi Jade! Fantastic to see 'Starburster' at #1 again :cheeseblock: Possibly the last week at the top here before a Billie song hits #1 maybe? I was thrilled to see 'Doomsday Blue' do so well in Eurovision, the performance was so striking in the best way possible :wub: 'Saving Flowers' sounds so damn good when being blasted out of a speaker in the sunshine! I've checked out 'Wake' and 'Windsor Safari Park' seeing that they're charting highly here and they're both fab. Fantastic to see the new peaks for 'The Code' (a really fantastic pick to win Eurovision), 'Good Luck, Babe!', 'Don't Stop', 'Maria' and 'Turn The Page' :cheer: Loving '360' as well right now :wub: Perhaps the most low-key single from 'BRAT' thus far but still a fantastic tune! I feel like I'm being rather spoiled with Billie Eilish, Twenty One Pilots and Charli XCX albums all being released within 4 weeks :heart: Great to see 'Talking To You' and 'Daylight Song' debut btw!

Hi Whoddy! For having a Morgan Wallen feature, 'I Had Some Help' is pretty good :lol: Much better than I though it would sound anyway. Nice to see 'Espresso' to up #2! The 2024 song of the Summer I fear... 'Look at My Body Pt. II' is the first Mabel single that has caught my attention for a while, Shygirl sounds great on there as well. Only one week until 'Clancy' :cheer: Fantastic to see the new peak for 'MILLION DOLLAR BABY' and the debuts for 'Buried Alive' (the first good Chance The Rapper song in a long, long time) and 'Toro'!

Trust me when I say that I adored Vampire Weekend's latest album, but this has to be the AOTY. I underestimated how good this would be, what a fool I was.... I really can't express how much I'm loving this album :heart: Billie really has such incredible vocals, I was delighted to hear her show off her endless talent through some fantastic vocal performances on the record :wub: The writing is also so brilliant, it perfectly balances being playful, introspective and intelligent at the same time imo. I must applaud FINNEAS for his stellar production :cheer: I don't think any of Billie's albums would sound as great without the other O'Connell creating some magnificent soundscapes :heart:
