Nate's Top 40 (23/2/24) #21
Hi Jack! Caroline's latest era has been so consistent. All we need now is for her to become the next Taylor Swift  Very hyped for Nia's next album as well, 'Crowded Roomz' just missed out on my chart. Hi Jim! Yay at it qualifing, thanks for the support :cheer: You sent a great entry this month, maybe it'll appear soon... Really hoping that these singles are an indicator of the quality of this upcoming album (I didn't realise it was out so soon - April 5th apparently). 'Capricorn' is better than 'Gen-X Corps' for me but the latter is still great! Looking forward to Dua's performance of this (+ 'Houdini' & maybe 'Dance The Night') at the Brits next Saturday! This record is really shaping up to be excellent. Shygirl must have a lot of top 20s in my chart I think ('thicc', 'tell me', '4eva' & 'mute' now) but still no top 3s. We need some more Fat Dog material as well, they're looking like a very exciting band right now! Hi Jade! My first reaction to 'Training Season' was kind of the same tbh. I got decent pop song vibes on the 1st listen but the track really clicked with me on the 2nd listen. I don't particularly think that the 'Houdini' video had a huge budget but the 'Training Season' director really should've taken some tips from how good that was :D I really haven't the slightest clue why I took so long to listen to the Caroline album but I'm delighted that I did, eventually... I had no clue that 'Spring Is Coming With A Strawberry In The Mouth' was a cover. Caroline's version does have a lovely arrangement  I've seen some pretty conflicted responses online about Simz's new EP but I personally love it. The production has just been polished so well and it is always great to see an artist stylistically pushing their boundaries! That 1975 concert that I went to is having a lasting impact on me  After taking a deeper dive into their discography, I think I can now confidently say that 'A Brief inquiry Into Online Relationships' is my favourite album from them! I always love a little bit of political commentary (unless we're talking about that right-wing Ben Shapiro trash) in a song so no it's wonder to me that I adore 'Love It If We Made It'

BJSC 162 ▲ Semi-final results
Why did Jadakissnia have to NQ :( That was my 7 so I'll be kicking myself if it was under 5 points off of a Q... Anyway, thanks to everyone who helped Abeltesfayeton Q again :cheer: A great set of Qs so far in Semi-2!

Nate's Top 40 (23/2/24) #21
Hi James! Only two weeks until we hear the rest of 'eternal sunshine' :cheer: 'yes, and?' actually keeps growing on me the more I listen (even with it being a former #1 for me lol). Agreed that 'Training Season' isn't as good as 'Houdini' but it does remain a bop! I would love to have some more introspective cuts like '16 CARRIAGES' on 'ACT II'. Caroline is easily one of the most consistent artists right now, she served with this deluxe! Hi Sergej! 'Mulholland's Dinner And Wine' has got to be one of my favs from Declan now, It really stands out when you listen to 'What Happened To The Beach?' imo. Every time I listen to 'Homesick', I just become even more desperate for new Sam Fender material  'Love It If We Made It' One of my all-time favs from The 1975, their concert is certainly having a lasting effect on my chart!

Conor's Chart for week ending 23.2.24
Hi Conor! Nice to see 'Training Season' get off to a excellent start here! 'The View Between Villages' Easily one of the most underrated songs from 'Stick Season', same for 'Paul Revere' as well! Cool to see 'She Calls Me Back' hit a new peak, I'm really struggling to understand how that didn't become a big hit. 'Let The Light In', what a stunner  I see that it has been charting in a few places, I wonder if it's gone viral (I certainly hope so)? 'TEXAS HOLD 'EM' is a certified bop as well!

Jade's Top 40 | #360 (23.02.24)
Hi Jade! 'Training Season' is a fantastic #1! I think I still prefer 'Houdini' but Dua has continued her streak of great singles  I'm dying to get a release date for DL3, July or August seems like a potential time for the album to drop (this is me desperately hoping that the album will have a summer party vibe ) but idk. 'Capricorn' is precisely what I wanted from Vampire Weekend's comeback, and what a stunner it is  'Gen-X Cops' was a great b-side as well. Fat Dog continuing to climb :cheer: I see that they're headlining Electric Brixton in April which must be a really big gig for them (I think the capacity is 1,500 :o). The new tracks from Caroline are great and 'Spring Is Coming With A Strawberry In The Mouth' was one of my favs so great to see that become an instant top 10 hit here! I must stan 'mute' hitting a new peak, what a bop! Yay at 'Northern Attitude' hitting the top 20 :cheeseblock: Top 10 at least for that pls. Great to see '¿Cómo Así?' & 'CHROMA 001 HELIUM' also hit new heights! I took a listen to that Sega Bodega track after it charted in Bré's chart and it's also very good, I'll have to check out some of his discography (just seen that he has worked with Shygirl, Dame Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Caroline Polachek and even that fantastic Björk X Rosalia track from last year!).

Jim's 40 new tracks (February 2024)
Hi Jim! Intrigued to find out which Unknown Pleasures tracks are in your chart right now.. I guess we'll find out tomorrow! 'Capricorn' is a fabulous #1, what a stunning comeback single from Vampire Weekend  'Slug' is also a banger from TR/ST so happy to see that in the top 2. Chelsea Wolfe's new album was a great listen! 'House Of Self-Undoing' was one of my instant faves so it's only right to see that chart here. 'Training Season' & 'The End Of The Contender' are also massive bops from their respective artists. 'Generator', 'mute', 'mr useless', 'Mood Swings', 'TEXAS HOLD 'EM', 'Floating On A Moment' and 'Loneliness' are all also great tracks that I've heard. And YES at 'Double Standards' entering someone else's chart!!!

Sergej's Personal Chart 23.02.2024
Hi Sergej! I wasn't overly keen on 'Training Season' at first but it has grown a lot on me and Dua has indeed released another great single! Great to see 'TEXAS HOLD 'EM' debut as well! Nice to see the new peaks for 'Gasoline', 'Stick Season', 'redrum' & 'Oh No :: He Said What?'!

JSG'S Top 40 • #101 • 22/02/24
Hi James! Ariana continuing to serve at #1, we love to see it! Only two weeks to go until 'eternal sunshine', I can't wait :cheer: Great to see those new peaks for 'Murder On The Dancefloor', 'HISS' and 'Loneliness' + I must stan a Sideman (Vikkstar) entering the chart. Also, taste at that Caroline Polachek X Weyes Blood collab entering!
