  1. The 6 God is set to claim his sixth UK no. 1 album with this record! He's also looking likely to score three top 10 singles from it: 'First Person Shooter', 'Virginia Beach' & 'IDGAF' at #4, #5 & #6 respectively in the single chart update. 'First Person Shooter' is also set to debut at #1 in the US which would make Drake the male soloist with the most Billboard Hot 100 #1 hits (if you include Sicko Mode) and more importantly it would provide J. Cole with his first Hot 100 #1!
  2. This is set to be another #2 album for Nines! I wonder if two #2 albums in the same year is possibly a new record?

Things are also looking quite good on the single chart, 'Daily Duppy' is set to climb back to #23 and 'Only One' & 'I Do' are set to debut at #28 & #29 respectively. This would provide Skrapz, OURAA, Tunde & Mugzz with their first top 40 singles!

I'm very pleased that Nines has broken Central Cee's record of having the highest charting 'Daily Duppy'! Nines' 'Daily Duppy' is also one of the best ones in existence imo (not that there have been particularly great ones in the past lol). The production is really smooth and it really complements Nines' flow. 'Agora Hills' is probably the most light-hearted song on 'Scarlet' but it remains a cute bop. I'm really enjoying Troye's direction so far for his new record, I've never really been a fan of his music previously but i'm slowly turning into a stand thanks to this era! 'Got Me Started' isn't as good as 'Rush' but it is still a lo-fi(ish) tune! 'Black Friday' is a rather beautiful song and one of my favourite works from Tom to date. I can see why 'Hold On To Now' was set to be the lead from Kylie's latest album as it is a bit of a euphoric banger! 'TRIPLE THREAT' is yet another great offering from the K-Trap X Headie One tape, their flows really compliment each other and Clavish is decent on the song. Blink 182 sound pretty cringy on both of these new cuts (they always have imo) but I do prefer the sounds of 'MORE THAN YOU KNOW'. 'Tumblr Girls' is just boring trash and I have no clue why this has any appeal to the TikTok generation as TikTok hits (usually) have some kind of interesting element or shock factor attached to them.

  4. This is a fantastic remix album!!! Especially loving the Zane Lowe remix of 'Running Out Of Time', the Julian Baker remix of 'Thick Skull' and the Wet Leg remix of 'C'est Comme Ca' on first listen.

This record feels like a perfect RSD release as well for some reason.

  5. Thanks for all your responses this week, I really appreciate it :D !

    Hey nate!

Your side of town is great. Glad tomsee that enter so high straight away.

    :jump:

Hi JSG! I love the direction that The Killers went with that single, I was quite sad to hear that they had scrapped an album in that direction but in the end it is their choice....

    Hi Nate!

Nice to see "My Love Mine All Mine", "Go Go Go", "Your Side Of Town", "Another One Of Me", "Back On 74", "I KNOW ?" and "Sweet Sounds Of Heaven".

    Great chart!

    Take care.

Hi Sergej! I'm so pleased to see Mitksi get a chart breakthrough right now, especially with 'My Love Mine All Mine', she deserves this success so much! Travis has made quite a wise decision by making 'I KNOW?' the next single from Utopia imo, I still can't get enough of that masterpiece of an album :)

Hi Nate, great to see you posting here!

Very pleased to see Mitski and The Killers in the top 10, as well as Trance Wax which was one of my favourites from this BJSC. ^_^

Hi Jim! Trance Wax deserved so much more then 17th place imo. BJSC 158 had a very strong final so it was understandable.

  8. Loving 'Tried Out Best' now, probably one of my favourite ever songs from him. 'First Person Shooter' also pops off alongside 'Rich Baby Daddy' which has become a guilty pleasure of mine, who thought i'd ever like a Sexxy Redd song lol

The Lyrical Lemonade video for 'Another Late Night' featuring Lil Yachty is out now. It seems like this was the song we saw Drake recording a video for a few weeks ago. The video for '8AM in Charlotte' has also been uploaded to Youtube.

so..... This isn't going ahead at all. As you can see there too little responses to proceed. By the end of the deadline there was one (from me as well lol). Sorry to anyone who wanted to enter at a later date but this rate just isn't feasible anymore..
  10. I'm praying that 'First Person Shooter' can go to #1. It would be a incredible moment to see J. Cole finally have a UK #1 single!!!

About the Bad Bunny song... The song is very weak and pretty short, its more of a all over the place interlude so I understand why is isn't gaining that many streams

  11. This album is waaaaaaay too long.

I'll have to give it a more in-depth listen but this album sounds pretty mid on first listen (albeit better than CLB and Honestly Nevermind). There are some big highlights though! I looove the J. Cole collab, the Yeat collab is also good and 'Tried Our Best' sounds fantastic on first listen.
