I honestly don’t know how the judges can’t correlate the French clues with “Can’t Speak French” by GA! :drama:

The little mix song references and *potentially* spice girls references (list of spices in the bin) could just be “GIRL GROUP” references in general rather than red herrings?

I always remember her doing that Girls Aloud Party thing back in 2008 and her belting her section in "The Loving Kind" and the crowd cheering and knew from then that she was one of, if not the strongest singer in the group.

Not gonna lie it’ll be a travesty if Queen Bee doesn’t win this.

I’m fairly certain now that it’s the following... Queen Bee = Nicola Roberts Monster = Cee Lo Green Fox = Denise Van Outen Octopus = Katherine Jenkins Duck = Skin Hedgehog = Jason Manford Unicorn = Jake Shears

Nah I can’t hear Courtney’s voice at all.

I’m now also thinking Jason Manford for the Hedgehog; he sang an Oasis song and they, like him, are from Manchester!

She’s still on fire mind, guessing Denise Van Outen and Jake Shears for the first time!

I’m catching up now, was the sound a bit weird tonight? The contestants all sounded either really quiet or really echoey!
  10. Which is anything but what the actual process will be.

I'm more convinced at that split second of opera that the Octopus is Katherine Jenkins.
  12. I’m being made redundant and one of the reasons cited by the CEO is Brexit, so apologies if I’m not jumping with joy that we are leaving the EU!

I wonder where that 6% has gone!

Even if her voice wasn’t already distinctive, one of the clues was that her name was from the same seed she grew from; Kelis’ name is a portmanteau of her parents names!

Weirdly, I thought the one who sang the Little Mermaid song sounded exactly like the actual singer... could it really be Jodi Benson 😂😂😂

    100% Nicola.

Michael McIntyre or Jack Whitehall I think for Hedgehog!

Wow, didn't realise they were so popular!

Can anyone explain to me how Wham is ahead of Mariah by so much? I've just had a look and she's ahead on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon? Is there something obvious that I'm missing?

Will be taking some time away so apologies for not voting.
  21. Hope it’s not too late to nominate God of War!
  22. Put a placeholder down for now as I have no idea what to send. :(

Hey Bre, any chance you have a list of countries that have yet to win a main contest, in order of total points (similar to what was in the old stats thread)?
  24. I do agree that it doesn’t make sense to not step down where the Tories are competitive as well. In my parents constituency, Blyth Valley, it is historically Labour but with a high leave vote. If the Brexit Party don’t stand down they are hindering the Conservatives chance to win that seat.

University fees are completely pointless when barely anyone actually pays them back. I graduated 2012 with debts of £18,000; because of how much I earn and the disgusting interest rate on university loans I actually now owe closer to £19,000. Fortunately after 25 years whatever I've not paid back will be wiped, but then it makes me think what the point of me paying £2 a month back is if it doesn't matter after 25 years? It doesn't effect my credit score in any way.
