What a weird iTunes run this song has had, it went up into the 70's then all the way down into the low 100's and now it's back up to #55

Unrelated to iTunes but Gangnam Style is now the first ever video to reach 1 Billion Views on YouTube and he has done it in 5 months, Incredible.

I'm surprised at the performance of Alex Day - I didn't expect this to be another 'Forever Yours' but at this rate it looks likely to do worse than 'Lady Godiva' despite having what seemed like more hype and that Stupidfest thing everyone was talking about. I would feel bad for him but I'm not sure why he bothers releasing these singles anyway - it's all a bit pointless.

 

Not that pointless, he is on course for his 3rd top 40 song! there are many artist that will be thrilled to bits with that!

I have a feeling that One Pound Fish song is going to blow up soon! even though it has already been out for a while but apparently he has just been signed to Warner :lol:, so if they get him the right promo it could be the next Gangham Style... Ok maybe I'm pushing it lol but it could become a decent sized hit for him, the official video has 1 million hits in 2 days aswell!

Rihanna is absolutely huge right now in the UK, it's unbelievable, She can release absolutely anything and it will enter the top 40, she is probably the biggest star worldwide now, Maybe Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga might have something to say about that though, i know Taylor Swift is huge in the US but i'm not sure about worldwide.

I remember WANEEGBT at #3 but no higher, that was it's peak I'm pretty sure.

There is a version of Va Va Voom on Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded the Re Up that is 59p, i wonder if that will help the song get a higher peak

Why do we get the same old acts rolled out every year, X Factor has beens, Rihanna, yet again, Bruno Mars, yet again, Robbie Williams, again etc etc, and the panel vocalists as well, Tulisa and Nicole. Why can't we see some fresh acts.
