  1. Look everyone OA/OS does not work in the UK. Reason being is the main radio stations excluding possibly Radio 1 and 2 love to play old music continually. Capital is not so bad, but when it's still got hits playlisted from April then I don't see how OA/OS can work. There's no marketing or promotion going on, so it's better to just hold it back/ How many big OA/OS hits have we had over here? I bet I could count the good ones on one hand, and I would need several hands for the bad ones...

There have been quite a few OA/OS hits, Starships from Nicki Minaj i bet if she held that back it would never have been one of the highest selling singles of the year in the UK

  2. Nicki Minaj - Va Va Voom  #88, wouldn't be surprised to see this start shooting up now, Radio 1 will probably move it up to the A list this week and Capital FM have latched onto it and are playing it quite a bit, why doesn't she release the video it has been done since last year, i wonder what her/her label are waiting for...
  3. Why would it fool anybody? It's like her other urban hits like Your Love, Moment 4 Life, which is what made Nicki popular in the first place.

Beez in the Trap isn't very good (and did WORSE on urban radio than Super Bass). It has absolutely NO melody, and a boring chorus. This is much better. Urban fans like songs with lots of synths and lots of drums, like Niggas in Paris, Motivation, What's My Name?, etc.

There's certain drum patterns and rhythms that urban songs are supposed to have, and Starships and Pound the Alarm didn't use them, but this song does, so it's perfectly fine.

I agree with all of that.

    "1,327,234 people like this"

Or the dislike bars on her music videos:

    Stupid Hoe:

    Beez in the Trap:

    I Am Your Leader:

She's overtaken Justin Bieber as the most hated.

Not to mention, she's very attention-seeking and desperate. Like her Mitt Romney comment recently.

She might be most hated but over the last year she has become one of the biggest music stars in the world so she must be doing something right.
