It is. This isn't 2004 anymore. Urban songs don't become hits unless sent to pop radio. Songs that get to #1 on urban airplay miss the entire top 20 often now. Earlier this year, Lotus Flow Bomb by Wale got to #1 on urban airplay and charted at #38 in the Hot 100. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_Flower_Bomb You, and most of the people living in the US, have probably never heard that song before, despite it being #1 on urban radio stations, which shows how irrelevent they are now.

Nicki and her label are well aware of this. They don't want Right By My Side to do well. All they care about is Starships, and you'll see how they have another dance song ready just as Starships dies in the chart.

If Right By My Side and Beez in the Trap mattered to them, they'd be panicking at their performance at the moment. They're not. Those songs can land at #49 in the Hot 100 and they won't bat an eyelid, as long as Pound the Alarm goes top 10.

I agree with all what you said here.

  2. That Artwork looks like it was made on Instagram (an iPhone app), but ro release Pound the alarm straight after Starships is too much in my opinion it sounds the same, Marilyn Monroe could be a decent choice, i see it getting into the top 20.

Gotye  #15, looks like this is finally heading out of the top 10 next week, it would have been out this week if it wasnt for the voice.

JLO ft Pitbull - Dance Again  #13 This is heading for a big drop next week.

Nicki Minaj - Starships  #12 and another version at #69 this has held up really well and its looking to sell over 600k that's fantastic sales in my opinion.

  4. Ooh, go 'No Church In The Wild' :cheer: Should make its top 100 debut this week and quite likely around the same as where Niggas In Paris debuted (#76). Then top 40 next week? And top 10 three weeks later  Niggas In Paris is definitely looking like re-entering the top 40, currently at #28 :D 'Watch The Throne' is at #4 on the albums feed also.

They are getting such a big boost from their UK tour
