The majority probably won't, given the ridiculously extortionate amounts of money they've paid for season tickets. Newcastle sack Hughton with the team 11th in the table, the club say they want a bigger name in charge to "take them forward". Baffling. I really hope this all backfires on them and they go back down, the way Hughton's been treated this season is nothing short of disgraceful.

Oh yay, another "saga" for Sky Sports News to milk for the next 3 months. Fantastic.

Last night had to be one of the worst games of football in a long, long time. Blackburn did what Blackburn do and we just showed little to no urgency or ambition when it came to getting forward, even with the extra man. A draw at Ewood isn't a disaster by any means but we need to start winning games.

This is exactly why I prefer club over country. Awful, awful 90 minutes of football.

TBH from what i've seen of the big teams the title is Chelsea's to lose. And also, it's fantastic that we've managed 7 points from City (H), Wigan (A), Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A) and Man Utd (H) but getting anything against the bigger teams is a bonus. The real test will be our next 4; Blackburn (A), Villa (H), Newcastle (A), Stoke (H).

Man United were atrocious, especially in the first half. Easily the worst i've ever seen them play, they looked a shadow of the team that hammered us 4-0 at the SoL a few seasons ago (And it could have been more). From a Sunderland point of view, we were brilliant and good value for our point. The first half was the best i've seen us play in a long time. That's now 3 points from Arsenal (H), Liverpool (A) and United (H), 3 more than people would have expected us to get and 3 very good performances.
