I looked her up, 808 hymn is amazing. Her label need to connect her to Calvin Harris or MK and get her some big features to launch her on the back off.

The ACR rules post Christmas don't really work. They are meant to flush out old tracks but after Christmas it resets the chart to a month ago.

I kind of thought Life of a Showgirl was a wrap on the Era tour because its about the Eras tour right? Next she'll get married and I think she'll have a kid. Whether she goes quiet for a few years I don't know. She could release Debut TV towards the end of next year and then come back with something new in 2027. Or she could take time out for family and really come back in 2028 with a big comeback narrative behind her. I think a lot of the vitriol Life of a Showgirl got was from fans of other artists who were bitter Taylor was taking up air and they felt air was limited.
  4. Only 9 songs released this year sold more than "Mr Brightside" This year's sales make up 10% of the total sales of "Mr Brightside" (16% of Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls) 55/100 sold over 50% of their sales this year 37/100 sold over 90% of their sales this year "Someone you loved"'s 517000 sales is a mere 8.14% of its total sales "All I want for Christmas is You" - 8.19% "Last Christmas"- 8.57% "Wonderwall"- 9.19%

House is back. Not 2014 level but building on last year's big hits like No Broke Boys, Blessings and Dior. Sombr releases a follow up album but it doesn't hit like the debut. (Think 2025 Benson Boone) Raye will have a big year and finally string some hits together in a coherent way The Charlie XCX/Wuthering Heights thing will be huge on TikTok and thus in the charts. Beyonce releases Part III, it will feature a collab with Slash from Guns and Roses. The narrative of the whole thing will be controversial and annoying. The Brit awards continue their irrelevance to the music industry A new girlband will debut to try and capture the HunterX pop space Teddy Swims will be over. Paris Paloma will continue to get less industry support than she deserves

Christmas songs are so crazy. Britney can get a platinum Christmas record and I've never heard of it
  7. Messy is a tune but it helped me find one of her songs 'Don't Hate Me'. I've played that a lot this year. It goes hard.
  8. Bruno Mars has an interesting career. Every now and again he just turns up with a massive tune, years apart.
  9. Carol of the Bells feels like some sort of record for an out and out non-pop song.
  10. She should! Have some fun, stop whispering!
  11. I'm hoping Billie's next record changes up her sound a bit. I feel like the big artists of yesteryear had versatility I can only see today in Raye
  12. They better play Back to Friends
  13. Tate deserved a week at number 1 this year.
  14. Not shocking to me. He's one of those 'BBC promotes' type of artists
  15. This year has been a good year for breakthroughs. Olivia has such a specific sound I wonder how long she can be a top 40 artist but she's got a music career for life
  16. No Broke Boys ❤️❤️ 💃
  17. One of these days they'll 'accidentally' play The Corrs
  18. I like everything Sam puts out. If that makes me a boring nelly so be it
  19. The format of bop, followed by Magic FM ballad didn't really work in this era for him. Shame. Azizam is great.
  20. Never vibed with Dior. Very JD Sports store tune
  21. Blessings. Song of the Summer for me
  22. 'Biggest artists in the world' in the way Shakira is though. The power of the latin market.
  23. Minor artist appearing on an event that airs overnight for a minor sport. I don't think so
  24. I am so happy last year's country thing is dead.
