iTunes Chart: December 2011 (Part III)
I'm with you Bre. I love Snow Patrol but I've never liked Chasing Cars. I like that they have put that behind then and are going back to their up tempo sound like Spitting Games, Chocolate, You're all that I have.

Christmas Top Of The Pops
I'd love it to go top 10

Christmas Top Of The Pops
The tribute to Jimmy just showed how his eccentricity and charm is sorely lacking from the Fearne and Reggie team
-
Christmas Top Of The Pops
I like they are showing Set Fire to the Rain. Someone like You has sold enough, Set Fire to the Rain needs a better chart placing.

Christmas Top Of The Pops
Twitter aren't half moaning that TOTP dared to include indie acts because they've 'never heard of them'
-
Christmas Top Of The Pops
The Wanted and Pixie were garbage. Jessie J did her usual sound effect 'singing'. Noah and the Whale though  Christmas day is over rated. What else are we going to do but sit watching TV and browsing online?

Christmas Top Of The Pops
Not really. There are only two of them and they do urban rap. So I wouldn't say they are in the pop group mould like 1D, JLS, The Wanted, BSB, *Nsync, Westlife, Take That, Boyzone etc

Christmas Top Of The Pops
TOTP limit themselves to one boyband a year so they have a variety. Its The Wanted this year. Awww, Example is well chuffed to be on TOTP

The Biggest Sellers From The Now Series: Top 50
There was a debate in the 90s solo women thread as to whether Wannabe outsold Never Ever, seems it has.

'Talk That Talk' // 6th Studio Album Discussion
Well, mostly because she's puking on stage but the album isn't well reviewed either. If she gets some decent remixed out she will be in a better position.

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (Part III)
Its not getting Radio because the single isn't dropping soon enough. As of now its an album track.
-
iTunes Chart: December 2011 (Part III)
If I were his people I'd skip the second one and get 'Take Care' out in January while it has the chance to climb to a new peak. Get him on a few TV shows/ radio interviews and he could be looking at a top 5 and it can take a week of his time.

'Talk That Talk' // 6th Studio Album Discussion
Its tough to see Rihanna getting any great singles off this album after 'We Found Love'. She needs a break. Get in the studio and come back in 2013 ready to destroy the competition
-
iTunes Chart: December 2011 (Part III)
Looking at wiki Drake is releasing Take Care as his fourth single at the end of February. It will be out of the top 40 before he graces us with a video is my guess.

iTunes Chart: December 2011 (Part III)
I see The Fear, Keep Your Head Up and The Wolves have crept up Itunes since Ben Howard was on Radio One this morning

Florence + The Machine // 'Ceremonials' October 31
Dare I say that I found Q TV's year end list very good with its balance of great pop and decent indie? But they also seem to have a fetish for the Klaxons and Editors songs released 6 years ago. BTW, Florence fans if you want to go off the mainstream track a little ( fixes hipster glasses) I'd recommend Melissa Auf Der Maur. She's listed on Spotify differently, its Auf Der Maur for her debut and Melissa Auf Der Maur for her follow up for some reason. She's like a Florence with a touch more guitar.

Little Mix - Cannonball
Putting the studio version over the live performance is a bit weird and in some bits it feels like its out of sync or the mouths don't quite match the sound they are making.

2011 record year for singles sales
Like you say, the 2011 number is incomplete. There are millions more sales to be added to that.
