  1. People not liking the Montell remix? I love it but I am a 90s child. It warms me insides it does. :music:
  2. You know, with the chart now airing on a friday, a cetain BBC One pop chart countdown show axed several years ago could be a natural place to debut the chart. 7.00-7.30pm, Friday night, announcement of the number one for the millions who don't listen to radio in Prime time. One of the problems before was that the chart was announced Sunday, everyone knew what was number one by Thursday or Friday. There would be just a half hour lag.
  3. I dont think Kelly will drop drastically. Shes a mainstream artist that can benefit from being seen on the top 10. Its not like its a huge fanbase like Fallout boy or something. I also dont think there will be a huge Brits effect. That is usually albums and I can only see Madonna getting a huge boost from a performance but shes going from 0 right now.
  4. I've seen the video a few times today, not that it has more of an effect than radio
  5. Seriously, Love me Like you Do is bland cheesy trash.
  6. Woot Outlines! Now, hold that top 10. Great tune. As for Ellie, this and Beating Heart should have switched peaks.
  7. That Calvin tune with HAIM is so generic, hope its low top 10 at most. The Tinashe collab would have been a better choice
  8. +10 Jessie Ware - Tough Love +9 Beyoncé - XO +8 Shift K3Y - I Know +7 Years & Years - Desire +6 Katy Perry - This Is How We Do +5 Raleigh Ritchie - Stronger Than Ever (Bloodsport is so much better though) +4 HAIM - If I Could Change Your Mind +3 Nicki Minaj - Pills N Potions +2 Jessie Ware - Say You Love Me +1 Kiesza - No Enemiesz What is a milky chance when its at home?
  9. Think #1 Want Between 5-10 Sales 120k I don't get why people are lapping this up when Beating Heart was practically the same thing and was largely ignored. Also it has that line 'I'll let you set the pace', which sounds like its out of fanfic, but it is a 50 shades song so...
  10. No its a dance pop song a la Jess Glynne.
  11. Great to see Lights getting some publicity. It was my fav song of that era.
  12. Tennant Impact! God among men
  13. Gaga has been trending downwards since 'Judas'. That was when her 'shocks' became boring, Madonna was doing the self-hating Catholic schtick 25 years ago. After that, it didn't really matter how many meat dresses she wore or how many eggs she turned up in. It kind of exposed her.
  14. Meghan looks to have been static since last night. Her advances and declines are fluctuations in Uptown Funks sales

How is 'love will tear us apart' so LOW. I would have thought that would have been a major download beneficiery. Its a classic. One of the best songs ever written...not even platinum yet!
  16. 361. Outlines (Radio Edit) - Mike Mago & Dragonette That is a hell of a song, its picking up on TV.
  17. 15 Ariana Grande feat. Zedd - Break Free 14 Gorgon City feat. Jennifer Hudson - Go All Night 13 Gorgon City feat. Zak Abel - Unmissable 12 James Bay - Hold Back The River 11 Imagine Dragons - Demons 10 Foxes - Holding Onto Heaven 9 Idina Menzel - Let It Go 8 Ella Eyre - Comeback 7 Twin Atlantic - Heart And Soul 6 Hozier - Take Me To Church -02 Power Music Workout - All About That Bass (Workout Mix)

Emilie Sande  I don't see Ronson doing huge numbers, Robin Thicke, Pharrell and Daft Punk did not have album sales reflective of their big hit songs.
  19. Britney tried to transition with ' boys 'but it didnt work. Jennifer Lopez rode the 1999 latin trend and in 2002 teamed up with Ja Rule, even with LL Cool J in 2003, shes now trying club bangers! Christina Aguilera worked with Redman on stripped for a more urban sound but she hedged her bets and didnt go all out in case the trend passed. .
  20. To be fair, before Emimem and even years after the idea of a white person in his genre was laughable. White boys cant rap. It was black artists like Pharrell giving white american artists some legitimacy in the genre in the mid 00s urban domination that started this trend.
  21. Urgh her video is so American sellout. She made a big fuss of 'Who You Are' and then comes out looking like a plastic barbie after the US industry got a hold of her

Let it Go is on Sky this Christmas, could see that go top 15 with gift cards
  23. That is a chicken/egg scenario. Christmas songs are beaten by x factor covers constantly, why put money into great christmas tracks? No great christmas tracks, no chance at beating Cowell. Its not just christmas songs either its big ballads like Stay another Day, Heartbeat and The Power of Love, put some bells on it, some snow and presents in the vid and put it out Christmas week. You get media exposure as a contender in the battle for the big number 1 and big play in the 4 weeks previous. Its a marketing move in the short term.
  24. Looking like Ben will be off the top by Thursday at this rate!
  25. It was ruined when it became a talent show victory parade, he couldn't set the final back to the Saturday before Christmas and get the slot after Christmas? No one bothers to release because of it. 15 years ago we'd have 6-8 new entries, you'd have joke entries, you'd have the biggest bands releasing something. Not anymore.
