Harry was a good launch and rapid decline. Bruno just stagnated. My comparison here is that with Sombr there is building interest, like his other tracks. He doesn't seem to be the artist that people run to listen to but relies on external forces like TikTok to decide whether his tracks make a dent. While Bruno and Harry's name gets a good initial boost, they had little long term impact. Sombr seems to be the opposite. I think this makes Sombr somewhat of a fragile artist as it kind of seems his success is out of his control. Its a song by song basis. While I think the song is mid, it does seem well curated for that TikTok market

Possible he's in the weeds of the 300,000s by Saturday which would still be great for him considering he's not a household name and performs in a foreign language. Happy to see Sombr stabilise. I saw someone on TikTok do a fanvid to Homewrecker yesterday. While I don't think the song is great if it picks up there it could be OK. I also saw Rein Me In getting a moment on football tiktok...

Only an 8% drop for Bad Bunny on Spotify. Pretty good. There is a big gap between him and he contending bunch for next weeks number 1 so far.

I think the key is whether its a lasting effect past curiosity. That is where I am not so sure. I'll be interested to see how the streaming numbers go through the week.
