Harry was a good launch and rapid decline. Bruno just stagnated. My comparison here is that with Sombr there is building interest, like his other tracks. He doesn't seem to be the artist that people run to listen to but relies on external forces like TikTok to decide whether his tracks make a dent. While Bruno and Harry's name gets a good initial boost, they had little long term impact. Sombr seems to be the opposite. I think this makes Sombr somewhat of a fragile artist as it kind of seems his success is out of his control. Its a song by song basis. While I think the song is mid, it does seem well curated for that TikTok market

Only an 8% drop for Bad Bunny on Spotify. Pretty good. There is a big gap between him and he contending bunch for next weeks number 1 so far.

I think the key is whether its a lasting effect past curiosity. That is where I am not so sure. I'll be interested to see how the streaming numbers go through the week.

Because he's a growing artist. We can't really take his debuts prior as standard. He has a higher profile now than he did back then and there has been a marketing push for that. Homewrecker is also behind 12 to 12 and Back to Friends on Spotify already. This is 'We Never Dated' 2.0

He's coming off the back of three platinum hits and a promo tour of the UK in January. Yes, his previous songs have been growers that stuck around a while but you'd think with that exposure and how weak the current top 10 is he'd break in on initial interest alone.
